Not a particularly good day. Dad was up early and took a shower, mom slept until @ 8:30 am. She said she slept all night, but came downstairs at 5 a.m. to read, and fell asleep again. Everyone had expressed an interest in church, but mom got up too late to go, and dad didn't feel good enough. I left quite frustrated, no amount of helping mom could get her moving fast enough for church.
I decided I better go home for the afternoon, as all I could do is be upset with mom. It's nothing new, she just doesn't prioritize to get places on time! She never has... I ended up sleeping that beautiful Sunday away. It was a nice day, but I went to bed and apparently needed the sleep. I came home and told Tim we just needed a night out, but after sleeping so much, we didn't do that either. I have decided we will have to connect with friends better for me to keep my attitude up.
I stopped by this morning, dad was in bed, not feeling well. The stool softeners haven't worked, so we are all concerned about that. I'll post after I meet with the nurse on Tuesday, and will swing by tonight after work. Will probably not stay there tonight, but will see.
