Claymore, Twisted In a Good Way

I just watched Claymore ep12 followed by Bleach ep130, and Claymore has officially slaughtered Bleach hands down, and made it look like child's play to begin with. Why? Check out this 2 screenies...

The insane Claymore cut his partner's legs without a single warning, and I went literally "WTF!"...


This screen explains a little bit of why did she do that...


Basically, she cut her legs off in a form of a game, and the rule is that she has to use her power to stitch them back in time to save her little boy-friend of whom she will bully and kill without mercy.

Its like SAW in anime form!!! You really need to watch this.

Claymore Marathon

Ok guys, I had sat through episodes 2 to 10 this afternoon for Claymore, and I must tell you that it indeed is GOOD. (My vocabs are really limited, just too lazy to think of another word other than GOOD thats not so general.)

Claymore is an all serious anime, and you can just forget about any of those wacky scenes in Bleach/Naruto to appear in it. At first I was skeptical because I keep wondering why the main characters are all females, you know, genres like this are simply just trying to sell sex (read Dead or Alive), instead of the story itself. Yet, the story evolves and provides a very reasonable explanation as to why the warriors in it are all tall, slim and busty girls, which I like.

One thing though, I had a hard time to differentiate the girls as their face look all the same, except the hairdo.

The production is definitely top-notch, the drawings are detailed and beautiful, the mood is cool, the music is splendid. However, I dont think its gonna be as mainstream as Naruto or Bleach, the story and style is just too heavy for most to absorb.

Claymore, Blood Everywhere

After 2 weeks without Heroes, Prison Break, Family Guy and My Name Is Earl, I started to have withdrawal symptoms like waking in the middle of the night in tears, or scratching my private in public...

Bleach is still on every Thursday night, and Naruto anime+manga keep my weekend busy. But until the next season of the above series starts to show, I really need something to fill in the blanks.

Scanned through Animesuki for the latest and hottest Anime to follow, found a few, but most of them are really too softcore for my liking.

Claymore is different though - The art is serious, reminds me of the very heavy Monster series some time back. This is why I downloaded the first episode and gave it a shot last night. (No no I didnt shoot anything in my dream last night.)

This anime is seriously... bloody... at least for the first episode...

Well, I wasnt blown away or captivated or anything, but it was not a bad ep01, I am keen to know how the story continues, and hopefully it can become another Bleach.

Lets all celebrate the return of the true Naruto anime! Naruto Shippuuden!...

Bye bye silly spoilers, bad drawing and lousy animation, just watch the extended 01-02 episodes and you can already tell the difference in quality. I also like the way the Sasuke 'preview' has been introduced at the beginning, thats real drama man!

Bring on the fights scenes! come on!

Naruto Fillers To End, No Kidding

See above 2 pages taken from the latest Naruto manga release this week, and together with it are the announcement of the end of the much-detested filler!

So it says that the 2nd phase of the Naruto adventure is coming back in Spring 2007, about 3 years after Sasuke went over to the gay-sounding Orochimaru, and all Naruto fans cried out loud after every silly anime episodes.

So that means we have roughly 3 more month, before we start to hate every week to pass so slowly.

Dexter's Laboratory

This is one of the very few American animated series I loved watching, hmm, about 10 years ago, and you know what, I still love it even today!

Its ultra funny to see the short and smart Dexter battle with his tall and silly sister.

I am re-watching it from TV Links.

School Rumble!!!

School Rumble is easy to be the most hilarious series that I have watched, with really good production quality, high standard of humour (that means some losers wont be able to appreciate), and some very pretty girls~~

I started to watch Season 2, streaming from the ever so great YouTube site. Season 2 continues its whackiness, and I must say its still as funny as ever.

Anime lovers, watch it.

Another week passes, and whatever happened to my weekly dose of Bleach? Taking a break after the bounto incident?

By the way, Naruto movie 2 is out at Dattebayo torrent. Have not been paying much attention to the Anime side quests and i hope it ends ASAP, but the latest comic for this week is also missing... is Japan having some holidays or wat... Give me Sasuke + Oro VS Naruto + Sakura already!! I mean NOW!
