Its been long huh? Anyone misses me while I was missing in action? I guess not...
Anyway, I've been busy since Pirates 3, busy with what? Hmm.. nothing in particular.. just the routine office work..
Oh, one happy thing is that my investment portfolio has turned from red to green over the 2 exciting weeks, thanks to CSC Holdings. Looking forward for more upside to come in the coming weeks.
Aww... I know all these investment things are boring stuff, just let me mention it once in a while okay?...
Now that I am back again, I'll try to post more updates.. went for a chalet over the last weekend, and let me see if I can Youtube a short video clip over the weekend.
Stay tuned!

Following Shanghai's footstep, Straits Times Index (STI) suffered the darkest red today with a drop of 120 points. The rest of the world wasnt left behind in this slump too.
I dont know abt other markets, but there's little worry here in this country regarding this adjustment. In fact, it was kinda predicted by many, and provides a golden chance for some to enter.
I am one of them.
While most people are just throwing their stocks away with a cheap price tag, I collected a little of a particular tech stock that has slided about 20% this week.
Lets pray together, with me, that a rebound will happen soon.

Hooray~
I think its about time I jump in. It's just too boring to study all different materials, and not doing anything practical.
Well, I dont have much cash on hand, and thus a penny stock is all I can afford. Not gonna reveal the company here, but wish me good luck.
As a complete newbie, my target is only 5% return. Not too ambitious huh? But hey, It's just gonna increase in time!
But, stocks in Singapore are kinda flat, although perfect for newbie, but is it gonna make anyone rich? My previous manager who retired at age 50 told me that it's easier to make it rich with 4D, rather than stock investment in Singapore. Well, he's serious, and in fact, he has 'invented' a theorem on buying 4D that allows him to retire earlier than most Singaporeans.
Its just too good to be true huh?

Do you know whats the interest rate of your savings account? Do you know what was the inflation rate for the previous year? Do you know whats the current taxation rate of your country? Are you an engineer?
If there's a positive answer to anyone of the questions above, I really think you are in some sort of trouble.
I am one of those who was brought up in a very controlled environment, 16 years of education until i get a stinking Bachelor degree, and I had never thought of those questions before. Heck, I didnt even thought of what I wanted to work as until recently.
There's no problem of landing a job, but thats as far as you will go. Middle-class, white-collar, work-to-pay-your-taxes, period.
I am starting to look at different investment instruments, by reading up articles and tutorials online. Stocks sounds good, Mutual Funds are not bad, while Bonds are... ermm... kinda boring.
I'd probably start to log my learning experience here, if I have any at all.
