..Starting @ the stars ..dont take any notice, meself, but someone may like to see theirs <grin> ..going to make this a commentary on the local news and happenings, all the opinions are my own ..feel free to add yours ...... ..or don't

1stMarch06 ..Fraudband ..Telstra finally being brought to task, locally, about this mickey-mouse broadband, by Julia Christiansen on www.abc.net.au/darwin.....dial-up sold as broadband, poor coverage in the bush....and the burbs ! So much for monopolies in a free market environment, as promoted under democratic capitalism ..and the majority still don't want a public taxpayer paidfor asset sold to private , multinational corporations, in the guise of being a stock exchange listed entity .
22feb06 ..a comment on "The AWB Scandal"..Virginia Woolfe said [?] ....it didn't happen, if it wasn't recorded ..or somesuch ..looks like this is the Australian Government's defence against bribery allegations ..if some of the "3 monkeys" were threatened with the same punishment as is being meted out to David Hicks ..one wonders if it would cause sudden memory-gain?
04.01.06 ..Excellent editorial to open the year, after a quality item to close '05, which included the phrase ..and to stop watching reality TV while we can still manage joined-up thinking ..luvvit ! Also seen a bit about the Gov finally seeing reality, and moving to change the hurried, not very well thought thru law which makes criminals of ordinary citizens , by not allowing copying of CD's and tape TV shows for personal use . The sooner the better,for the change in this law, the fair use loophole seems to have been forgotten [?] in the rush of blood to the head as the Coalition flexed their muscles, now they have full power over the Senate, too.

Just ask the PM and the ex-AFL kickabout player, who managed to convince the judiciary that when he said ..white *c* ..he was only talking about the ump's clothing ...mmmmmmmm! Denial ? Nope,we'll be having none of that around here, thank you very much!
