15mar06 ..Leon Compton on www.abc.net.au/darwin , this fine wet monsoon morn...interviewing an author [?]..is suicide contagious?..... see 6/1/06 below ..when put into the good ol google, wow: there sure has been some research done on the topic....any of the hot air getting out where it's needed :- in amongst the players of the game, cos that seems to be what they think it is..allasame as the TV >> at the end of the hour, turn the page , and up come them all again...is it all in a virtual world? is that how they see it? have people so lost touch with reality from watching reality-tv, and only reading the labels on stuff, like jeans, as their primary input sources? that they think that suicide is only a game....this'll show em , this'll teach em to respect me, they'll be sorry now !!
23.01.2006 ..Dial-up sold to us as broadband ..is it because the people in charge, the pollies, don't really know ? Don't really understand, how, while they are distracted by a ridiculously expensive war, in both blood and treasure, that the rest of the world is leaving us behind, technologically ? The US, and also Oz, have years to catch up, development-wise, in real broadband...not this mickey-mouse, faster [just] dial-up rubbish that Telstra is getting away with, fooling only the wilful-ignorants and the gullible...here's some good stuff from knowledgeable .... and pissed-off..... 06.01.06 ..a friend's young cuz has followed what seems to be a bit of a trend/fad [ can/t think of the right word , yet ] and committed suicide, apparently impetuously..what's that all about?....like to hear some views, and will be updating...as 'n when...sss
