ITS MA LIFE!!

Well, the brain is as mysterious as any other thing in our world!! It's nature of functioning has ever remained a curious thing, and accordingly efforts are being made to understand it to the maximum extent possible. Being one of the most magnificent tools ever witnessed, its really the toughest job to comprehend its way of working. Yet, a considerable amount of work has been done towards this and results have been achieved. With lots more to understand about this wonderful tool, i hope this piece of text has something to offer.

Though the superficial working of this amazing tool has been cracked, there's still more to understand about its actual way of working. To begin with, lets get brushed up with the way it behaves, as we beleive it does.

As a stimulus, electical signals are carried to the brain through an intensive network of nerves. And these encrypted signals are decoded by the brain and upon processing, necessary reponses are made. And this responding is done by, again, electical signals sent by the brain in encrypted form. These signals essentially contain the information about the nature of response directed by the brain. To be more precise, thee signals ARE the information.

What came in my mind recently is stealing the signals sent as response and analyzing them to understand the result that the brain intended to perform.

As an illustration, take the case of, hmm..., punching. Any room that the person sees as an opportunity to punch can be considered as a stimulus. Any opening to the face or the abdomen is seen as an ideal time to deliver a punch by any professional fighter. This is the situation corresponding to the stimulus. When this scene is sent to the brain, it is processed and an appropriate action in return is recommended. This reaction is the action of punching. For him to punch, the signals are directed from the brain to his hands which perform the desired action, in this case punching.

Now comes my point of application. By any means available or even by designing a new method, these pulses sent by brain to punch should be recorded. With the advent in electrical field, i dont think this is an impossible task. By developing a software to decode these recorded signals, we can decipher the action the brain had planned to perform.

My initial idea to use this technique was in medical field. Whenever a person is suffering from any disorder the brain permits certain enzymes and hormones or any other action to take place, such that it counteracts that disorder. And by interfering with the transmission of this data of fighting the disorder, we can get a clear view of what problem the subject is undergoing and thus helps in finding a suitable remedy.

By giving a good thought about the above issue, i would be pleased to see comments to put the above idea in use elsewhere.
