Last weekend I took the K800i and photographed some of the flowers in our garden to show them to Olga since she's still in bed most of the time. Of course the phone doesn't take pictures of the same quality as those HiFi digital cameras some ppl have but still I thought I'd share them. Olga has done alot to make our garden a colourful place.
Last weekend my sister visited us and together with a neighbour we played a bit on the Wii. Guess what, the neighbour had a ten bagger and reached 287 points. My best result so far is 224.
On Sunday we were up north in the Wendland
where there's each year a festival called Kulturelle Landpartie
. Each small village shows art or presents itself as being one of the famous Rundlings-Dörfer
or there are bands and such. It's best to use the bike but since I can't carry them on our car we had to drive around in the bus (we were 6 persons so there wasn't space inside either). This weekend we had fun on the Mützingenta
and in Lübeln
(a "Rundling"). Of course all these events are also used to make people aware of the problems that the Wendland has because politicians consider to use it as the ultimate disposal place for atomic waste. The events are fun because the people try to make as much as possible without (atomic) electricity, so there are e.g. wooden roundabout driven by a man on a bike.
On Monday we went to a knight tournament
. Even though the westher was rather bad we found the tournament quite interesting and enjoyed medieval beer.
