Polymorphic have released a preview of Hyperlanguage to act as a precursor to the improvised sound installation at Netaudio 06. It aims to give the listener an aural context for the project whilst introducing the fundamental themes of investigation with which the participating artists are concerned. Originally a French project called 'Twelvomatic' which involved 12 different artists (Scanner, S.E.T.I., Merzbow, Illusion of Safety, Asmus Tietchens, John Duncan etc).
Each artist gave one minute of sounds to a sound bank/library, which we then mixed into a 60 minute album each. My album was going to be the first in the series but the originating label went down in 2003/4.

This Quicktime video was recorded by DJ T23 (Trevor Malcolm) in June 1992 at 'Knowledge' at the SW1 Club, Victoria, London. The audio is the live DAT recording of the track 'Vector'.

This version of the track from 'Prismatic' was made for live performance using only the Roland MC50mkII Sequencer, Roland JV1080 synth and EMU Morpheus synth. The track was first performed this way in Kyoto's Metro Club, Japan in 1996.
