(NaturalNews) As live foods, super foods, and herbs are continually researched, it is ever more apparent that all of the keys to optimum health and well-being can be found in nature. And Iboga, the root of an exotic rainforest shrub that grows in Gabon and Central West Africa, is Nature's answer to people who are searching for relief from their painful cycle of drug addiction. Ibogaine, the active ingredient contained in this root, has been used in Africa for thousands of years during the ritualistic ceremonies. It can transform a person who is totally dependent on heroin, cocaine, alcohol and other drugs into a pre-dependent state, free of physical dependence and drug craving. Ibogaine is a psychedelic, dream creating drug. The person taking Ibogaine lies down and experiences incredible visions that are relevant to their life. It seems to go straight into the unconscious mind, bringing incredible insights into one's nature. Every person's experience is totally different. For some it is as if they are watching a movie of their life, for others it is as if they are being reorganized like a filing cabinet, and for others, the visions may have no recognisable meaning at the time it is being taken.
Ibogaine interrupts the withdrawal symptoms and drug craving so that they can detoxify and get their life in order. It is completely non-addictive, so there is no chance that the person will become dependent on Ibogaine. It is as though Ibogaine resets the brain's neurotransmitter function to a pre-addictive state.
Ibogaine is broken down in the liver and gut lining into a substance called nor-Ibogaine. This substance continues to be active on a patient's opiate receptors for several weeks to several months after a single dose, which research has shown to give addicts a window of time to become free of drugs dependency.
But beyond the physical changes that occur, there also seems to be a tremendous amount of emotional change that occurs. In the weeks that follow the Ibogaine treatment, people are suddenly able to discover answers to issues that have caused them pain and suffering throughout their lives. One encounter with Ibogaine is often likened to many years of talking therapy. It gives the person a previously lacking deep understanding of themselves. Compulsive behaviours have changed, addictions are gone, painful voids vanish, and they experience a new level of freedom. In fact, Ibogaine is not only being used for drug addicts, but also for people who want to sort out a whole range of issues that burden them.
Most addicts who find Ibogaine have already attempted to kick their habit and come to this as a last resort. Many of them have already been to a range of treatment facilities and rehabilitation programs as well as drug treatment programs. For a significant amount of serious addicts, Iboga is the only thing that works. People who have been addicts for years say that they feel happier than they have in years.
So why is this not front page news of every newspaper in the world? If the leaders of our countries are serious about the "war on drugs", then why isn't this available to those people who are crying out for an answer to their horrendously painful addiction? The answer, unfortunately is the same old story…it is not lucrative enough.
Ibogaine was made illegal in the USA in the 1960's along with other hallucinogenic drugs such as LSD and mushrooms. Despite incredible results during clinical trials, there has not been enough funding needed to get Ibogaine approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). And pharmaceutical companies do not want to see Ibogaine on the market because it is not profitable. Ibogaine is so amazingly powerful that you only need to do it once to get off drugs. This is in strong contrast to drugs such as methadone which need to be taken indefinitely. In addition, drug companies generally prefer to work with illnesses that are not so strongly stigmatised like drug dependency.
It is important for everyone, especially the addict, to remember that they can get sucked back into their behaviours. The addict must choose to not associate with those people and those situations that trigger their cravings. Ibogaine is perhaps nature's most potent tools to assist those who genuinely want to transform, but one can potentially get sucked back into old patterns. However, while the 12-Step program and other rehabilitation programs say you will always be an addict and that you can never be free from that identity, many addicts that have been helped through Iboga claim to feel completely free from their addiction and feel empowered to choose not to have a relationship with those substances. The addiction is gone because they have delt with the root causes of the addiction.
Ibogaine is currently illegal in the USA, Denmark, Belgium, Sweden and Switzerland, and may be so in other countries. There is currently legal help being given in Mexico, Vancouver, the UK, Africa, Thailand and Australia.
The clinical research on Ibogaine is slowly but surely continuing. There have been write-ups in a number of mainstream scientific publications including Bulletin of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies and The Lancet. It has been and is now again being studied at the University of Miami in an FDA approved Phase 1 clinical trial.

Information on Ibogaine is here because it is a solution to Addiction...taking addiction to a level of being able to be cured in 24 hours! It was legal here in the US for a brief time only...until the big pharmaceutical companies lost way to much money on "their" weak and pathetic "drugs" (such as methadone) that aren't a solution at all...just another ADDICTION. What do you think?

MICHAEL LOHAN: 'LINDSAY IS ON DEATH'S DOORSTEP'
LINDSAY LOHAN's alleged drug habit has left her on "death's doorstep", according to her estranged father. Michael Lohan has been publicly pleading with the actress to seek professional help for her reported addiction to prescription drugs, insisting the star's troubles have left her a shadow of her former self. In an open letter published in America's In Touch magazine earlier this month (Oct09), the born-again Christian wrote, "I have held your vacant body in my arms, felt the tears fall down your face, and I tried every way to make you see what is happening to you. "I have helped so many others 'successfully,' Linds, please, Honey, let me help you. Let me help you get your life back so that you can build it to where you once were." The Mean Girls star and her mother Dina have repeatedly dismissed Michael's claims and Lindsay has pledged to file a restraining order against her dad. But Michael is refusing to let the issue rest and claims to have recordings of phone conversations he's had with his ex-wife, lamenting their eldest daughter's supposed drug battle and her deteriorating health. He tells the New York Daily News, "Dina is saying that I'm lying - that Lindsay doesn't have a problem and that she's OK. "But I have proof that Dina has told me Lindsay is on death's doorstep, that she doesn't have much time left. There have been frantic calls. And I'm going to prove that Dina is the liar, not me." Michael plans to leak the tapes to U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight on Monday (02Nov09) - but insists he's not out to savage Dina's parenting skills. He adds, "As the mother of my kids, I won't slam Dina personally. But she has expressed to me that Lindsay is in dire, dire need of an intervention. And Lindsay needs to see that her mother is either lying to me or lying to her."

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A California judge on Friday ordered the boyfriend and two doctors of former Playboy model and actress Anna Nicole Smith to stand trial on charges of fueling her addiction to prescription drugs. Smith, whose life as a fashion model, television star and young wife of an elderly oil billionaire was fodder for tabloids and celebrity magazines, died from a prescription drug overdose in February 2007 at age 39.
Her longtime boyfriend, Howard K. Stern, is charged with 11 felony counts, including dispensing a controlled substance to an addict and obtaining a prescription for opiates by deceit.
Dr. Khristine Eroshevich and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor each face six felony counts, including unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance to an addict.
All three face charges of conspiracy to commit a crime.
Stern, Eroshevich and Kapoor have pleaded not guilty. Each faces more than five years in prison if convicted.
The famously buxom and blond Smith died in Hollywood, Florida, shortly after the birth of her daughter and the death of her adult son, also from a drug overdose.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert Perry's decision on Friday to order Stern, Eroshevich and Kapoor to stand trial follows more than two weeks of often lurid testimony.
Nadine Alexie, a nanny who worked for Smith, told investigators the model slept for three days on some occasions when she took medication and that when Smith finally arose there would be vomit and feces in her bed.
Alexie's statements to investigators were read in court at a hearing on Thursday.
Earlier this week, a doctor hired by California authorities to review Smith's treatment, testified that Kapoor prescribed large amounts of the painkiller Dilaudid to her, after the model fractured two ribs in 2004.
One expert witness, Dr. James Gagne, testified that six medications requested for Smith by Eroshevich, a psychiatrist, in a 2006 letter to Kapoor was a "list of the drugs that are the most highly prized by addicts."
Outside court, Stern's lead attorney Steve Sadow told reporters his defense was simply that Stern is innocent. He earlier told the judge that Stern was being charged with "doctor-related activities" even though he is not a doctor.
Eroshevich told reporters: "I understand that I have to go through this process."
In court, Eroshevich's attorney argued she was well-intentioned in her care for Smith and never knew the model-actress had undergone treatment for addiction.
Smith was a Guess jeans model who gained fame by marrying 89-year-old billionaire oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall. After Marshall's 1995 death, Smith was embroiled in an inheritance dispute with his son that made it to the U.S. Supreme Court.
MY COMMENTS...
Finally...Physicians are being made to be accountable. Soon, if we work together, as "victims of addiction", we will make a huge dent in preventing doctors from becoming Drug Pushers and Dealers. If YOU are a victim...se a lawyer ASAP and sue. Money is the only thing these doctors understand, so, let's speak their language!!!
(206) 888-8680 Call NOW Although no one can say that all victims of addiction also suffer from depression and/or anxiety, there is a common thread. Depression and Anxiety, once recognized by a parent, needs to be professionally addressed. Both are disorders which cause one's world to go "dark" and "hopeless"; many will resort to drugs and alcohol as a temporary "fix" for this frazzled and uncomfortable state of mind. As parents, you must look for signs of depression and anxiety in your child so as to relieve them of the hopeless thoughts and emotional paralysis that could put your child in harms way. My own life began with depression and anxiety filling my life at the early age of 12. This led to my three attempts at suicide. It is difficult to relate to these disorders if you've never suffered from this horrendous "plague"; however, take it from me, you can prevent a lifetime of despair with just a little observation.
There are wonderful medications and alternative therapies for depression and anxiety now. It is very treatable and the treatments are lifesaving and life-changing. Causes can be anywhere from a person's external factors to internal chemical imbalances within the brain. A professional can usually diagnose the etiology. Remember one thing - no one who is truly depressed or anxious should ever be told to "snap out of it". This tactic is deadly and can lead to drug abuse once failure to do this is realized. Be patient and supportive and leave the treatment to your qualified doctor. Second...even third opinions are excellent choices. Please be weary of diagnosis that comes once a person is actively in addiction; addiction can mask various mental and emotional disorders. Only a finely tuned and experienced physician can come to the proper conclusion and treatment.
There is help out there for those who are depressed or riddled with anxiety. If you don't know where to begin looking, please contact me. God Bless! (206) 888-8680 Call NOW
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matt 11:28,29,30)
The Words above, spoken by our Lord & Savior, Jesus the Christ, are perhaps the most comforting promise of all to those of us who obey Him in all ways. It isn't a promise to everyone, only to those who serve Him. For all of you who are looking to be set FREE from drug addiction, when you come to God, He meets you at the place you are in life. He begins a work in you that will fill you with the peace of God that passes all human understanding. Jesus set me free from prescription drug addiction after years of bondage and when I was dying of a massive overdose (given to my by my "trusted" physician). I was in a place...alone with Him...where all that mattered was pleasing God. He put me in a place where I saw the pieces of my mind and life in shattered bits all around me. I thought that eternal death was going to take me, but, God saw more...He saw a broken person who was more than ready to serve Him. I thought I had failed Him, but, He was always there to take me back. I gave Him, at that moment, ALL my burdens...all those things that I was hanging on to and shouldn't have been. I freed myself of the heavy weight around my neck and gave it to my Jesus. His Gentleness surrounded me. My heaviness left me. He gave me rest. He gave me His love, extended His mercy to me, and filled me with His Spirit to make me who I am now. Through Him...I can do ALL things. My life is free. My life is AWESOME. I serve Him by leading others to His love and healing. If you're a slave to addiction, there is a way out that has only one lane...the healing lane. With a total and proper commitment to God...to Jesus...you will never turn back to where you are right now. He will hold you in His arms forever. You've tried everything else...try God now.
Call me or write me at AnAddictNoMore@aol.com Freely God gave Himself to me and freely I will do the same for you. I can and will help you. I know and understand the heavy dark cloud you are living under. I know and understand how you are a slave to your addiction. I know and understand how nothing else but your addiction matters. I know and understand how you are "tired"...you just can't take anymore of your dark world. Reach out to me as I am to you. Don't feel strange. I've been where you are. Let me help you. I see miracles every day.
The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved - loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves. -- Victor Hugo
An interesting quote. Only God Himself can give us the unconditional love and mercy that gives us the strength to please Him and have the desire to do all He commands us to do. Only HE can give us freedom from addiction of all kinds. He give us complete and total healing that lasts. I am able to say that my addiction ended on May 23rd and NEVER has nor will return. God heals. I don't have to go to AA or NA meetings and state that I am an addict and always will be...THAT IS A LIE FROM HELL!!! I am CURED...HEALED...YOU CAN BE TOO! All you need to do is get saved...ask God to heal you...and be healed! When you are a child of the Living God, you get over addiction. It no longer is a part of your life. You can and will get over it! The love of God resolves ALL issues...no matter what they are. I know. I am an Addict NO MORE!!!
"So then each of us shall give account of himself to God." (Romans 14:12)
There will come a day, whether you believe this or not, when we will stand before God and have to give account for everything that we have done...good and bad. We are ACCOUNTABLE to Him! Think about it. Would you want to risk getting into heaven by feeding your addiction? I know that it is the acceptance of Yeshua (Jesus) as Lord and Savior that we must do to bring ourselves into God's presence; however, continuing in any sin (ie: Addiction) will take us out of His presence and salvation. Is it worth throwing away eternity with God for a drug habit? I don't think so. Our life is only a "vapor" compared to spending all eternity...FOREVER...in total joy with our God. God never moves away from you...you move away from Him. Don't say that you'll do it tomorrow morning when you wake up...you may never wake up. Hell is real and heaven is real. Deal with it NOW...today...while it's still today and you're still breathing. It doesn't matter if you addiction stemmed from your own dealing with drugs or if it is because of a doctor who gave you this illness...the fact remains that it is serious.
