Luckily it is very temperate here. Although it just seems to rain & rain all winter long...But at least we don't shovel it,
just a little gloomy sometimes that's all!!!(no I'm not complaining )shshssh

just thought I would mention what was happening around here... Black berries will be picked untill next week as they will be dried up .pickling beets,working on cleaning up the garden,always clearing brush!! Getting firewood.just having fall sneak in us..does'nt matter I smell it hahaha,planted winter garden ..swiss chard, mustard greens ,garlic and kale. caterpillars have eaten my cabbage to pieces & pumpkins are orange already so I harvested two. We have to thin out the chickens and then soon the turkeys. Then we get to gobble gobble.
Next year's project is to get the house built. this year was build the shop.Chinese horoscope has year of the dragon ,pig etc We have year of moving on land and year of water,cable and hydro etc,year of figuring out what goes where, year of making more land, year of shop,and next year.. year of house!

thought I would get some organic slug bait.....Muskovey Ducks and they aren't noisy!
just add water and some grain with some garden greens and they go to work !!! I used to see 15-20 slugs in the evening by the pond....lucky to see 1. RIGHT Bleepin ON!!!!!
