Today is the day Spring, Tx residents will vote on a $280 million dollar school bond. I will vote NO for one simple reason: illegal immigration. The founding fathers of this country coined the phrase "No Taxation Without Representation." Today, we should be shouting "No Representation Without Taxation." Illegals come here to work and put their children in schools witout paying taxes. You and I are taxed through the gills, all the while supporting the cash economy that allows illegals to live and thrive without the obligations or responsibilities of citizens. And no, the solution is not to make them citizens. But that's the subject of another post (click on the "Immigration" tag in this post for more on illegal immigration).
