Smoochy Chapter 11 ~ Family

10 - 12 April 2009[/U]

What is my family to me?
- unconditional love and support
- going back home knowing that they will be there forever for me
- knowing that they will never turn their backs against me
- people who wants and needs my love, care and attention too
- something irreplaceable

I planned a trip to Tioman with my Mummy and Sister. To just simply spend some time by ourselves and to celebrate my sis's birthday. I had loads of fun. Felt really happy, coz' i haven't seen them so happy. And it makes me melt to see them this happy. At the same time, ashame of myself for not spending enough time with them. I must try!!! My dearest readers, you too alright!

Here are some photos we took=)

6.30am on the coach to Mersing[/U]
It has been ages since we took a family photo...not the best photo, but definitely a lovely one. Oh i got to know two friends on the bus, Imran and Wan. Wonderful and friendly chaps. Had a promise to go get our diving license together and trip to maybe pulau redang? we'll see.

Finally at Mersing at 10am having our breakfast...=)[/U]
My Mummy and I =)
Me and my sista!
Pple i love most in the mowrld! =)

Hehe, My sista. I haven't seen her so carefree and jovial =) happy![/U]
hope she won't kill me for putting this up...haha
It's a whole different experience to have beer with family. lolz[/U]

On the Ferry to Tioman at last. We waited for 4 hours!!! my god... they ought to improve their services! tsk tsk... Oh and i forgot to mention, the person behind the camera was this really really cute Finalnd guy with a very funny accent. but a great personality![/U]

A first glimpse of Tioman! Magnificent! =)[/U]

Poor thing lor, they look so tired. a 11 hours journey and finally reached Tioman Tekek Village @5.30PM. Not even at Juara Mutiara Village yet!!![/U]

The 'busiest' village on tioman: Tekek Village[/U]

Finally at our resort Juara Mutiara!!! @6.30 PM[/U]
we took a jeep from Tekek to Juara. The 40mins journey was unforgetable. Scary lah!!! almost like a roller coster! But was so so so much fun! hahaa
That's our resort at the back. Love the back drop especially. Though my sis looks really really tired...lol old liao..[/U]

Just a 30 sec walk and we'll reach the beacH!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!![/U]

Spend a couple of hours on this hammock sinking into the surrounding... i miss tioman!!![/U]

Snorkeling Trip!!![/U]

Just to illustrate the point. I AM GOING SNORKELING! lolz... funny right.
My sis! so happy right=) it's rare to see her so carefree... =)
I had loads of fun with this group of people. Some from KL, some from Indo, Some from dunnoe where la...lolz...but they were great company=)
Swimming with the fishes was really a brand new experience. It was totally cool. =) And Hafiz the one beside me, our tour guide for the day was a totally cool dude too! made sure we were all alright and happy. while snorkeling, hafiz decided to go down to the coral bed, and caught a few clown fish me to see and touch up close!! so cool! and he taught me how to dive in deep with my snorkel on too. it was really an enjoyable experience. If i were to go back again. he'll definitely be part of the reason.=)

I secretly sneaked out to the beach while my mum and sis were asleep. The night view was just magnificent. The yellow moon hanging up there, surrounded with a sea of diamonds. omg... I wish i had a much better camera to capture all these moments. also can't help but wish there was someone right there enjoying that moment with me...
And of coz the highlight of the entire trip! Happy Birthday Jie!!!=)[/U]
The look on their faces just melt me. it's such a nice feeling to see them happy.=) a kind of warm nice feeling that u don't get with anyone in the world. Coz they are so special...=) love them so so much...
took me great pains to get the cake.. but Anie and Hafiz were such angels! they took a 45min mountain trip just to get to tekek village to get me the cake and done e way i asked them to! omg...i'm so blessed in more ways than one...=) Sistas forever and ever! =)

I'm so looking forward to another trip to Tioman and Pulau Redang!!! I'm so gona get my divers licence when i'm back in singapore in June! =)

I Love my Family to the core!!!!!!!!!! family rocks!!!!!=)

Smoochy Chapter 10 ~ Human Emotion does 'wonders'

Haven't felt such anger, hatred and resentment for a long long time. And am rudely reminded how miserable it feels to hate or be angry with someone. Has it come about because of unresolved issues snowballing to a unavoidable 'crisis'? Or are we just jinxed? Or maybe I'm just not suited to the political music scene. haha To think that I took conflict & issue management. I suck at it.

Not exactly sure how to get rid of this feeling.
Person 1 suggested to face the issue and trash it out with A.
Person 2 suggested to just let go of the matter coz' A will most probably make me feel worst and more worthless if I were to further the topic.
Person 3 suggested to just avoid A at all cost, or better still, don't ever cross each others' path again.

As much as I would like to go with Person 1, can't help but agree with Person 2.

So how? I'm at a loss.

But I do realize from this episode, how A viewed me. Rather negatively I would say. In fact, i think he skipped a whole lot of good things remembering only the bad things, which I suspect was really way too exaggerated, elaborated, untrue and false as well. But before I would like to rebut or blame him or pick on him. I realize that I remembered A in a very negative light too. Just that i chose to keep quiet while he chose to go 'public'. I guess it's really human nature to remember only the bad stuff when you do not like that person huh.

Although I feel really unhappy, unjust, sadden and 不服气, and I would really love to trash out with A, maybe it's a better choice to try to let things go, like i've always had ever since I was his student. Never being good at words/English, I was always at the losing end, and still am.

I really hope no other students of A has to go through all these, and if they did, I hope that they didn't hold any resentment. It's miserable hating someone. Can be really tiring and frustrating. Now i understood how my seniors felt and the reasons why the chose not to come back.

My only comfort: A brought me into the band scene, if not for him, i would not have known music.
My 'discomfort': Sadly, I think that we will never be able to agree with each other.

Really hope that these resentment will go away. Hating someone is more difficult than loving someone.

Smoochy Chapter 9 ~ I had a chat with myself

I had a chat with myself today.

Lifeng's Ghost: Hey, it has been ages since you last chatted with me!
Lifeng: Hey there, apologies. I have to admit that I have been neglecting and forgetting you (i mean me, lolz).

Lifeng's Ghost: I know... And i totally don't blame you. Coz it's OUR character! lolz
Lifeng: And I think my blog readers might think I'm going out of my mind. hehe

Lifeng's Ghost: Like what most of your friends would say, you most probably are crazy anyway. haha
Lifeng: Yeah and i'm here laughing to myself and my ghost. Just in case my readers find me weird, let me just explain a little. I have been having weird dreams the past couple of nights. And today, i seem to have a lot of flashbacks. I hope it's not a bad omen... Was walking around Yishun reservoir on the way for my swim, and my legs sat me beside the waters and I my mind wondered off itself on this lazy lazy Sat evening...

Just can't seem to forget these moments...

On a Typical Friday evening
9-yr-old-feng: 爸, can we go swimming after work at pasir ris today pleasy please...
老爸: Ok lah, then after that we can go punggol way and eat chili crab, you one and I one. And your fav prawn roll too la. Just two of us. Don't tell your 妈 ah. Wait she say I make you grow fat again. HAha!
9-yr-old-feng: on ah!!! bribe me with mac ice-cream cone and I won't tell 妈 ! hehe
老爸: you ah, 好学不学,学人家bargain. *shake head and smiles*

Typical day at my dad's workshop
9-yr-old-feng: 爸, can i go up the boat with you later pleasey please!!! I wanna 透风 !! hehe And then I can help you carry the big big batteries, and see the kelong dogs, and try to push you into the waters!! hehe
老爸: *stares with big eyes* 没大没小!hai why got such kind of daughter
9-yr-old-feng: haha! What to do, like what everyone says. got father got daughter! HAhahahah! *runs away*
老爸: ok lah, just this time ah. Don't drop into the water ah, wait the kelong uncle catch you with his net and sell you away with the other mermaids.

Me on top of the world, aka, on top of dad's tummy again
老爸: Aiyo!!! i'd just finished my dinner, get off my tummy!
9-yr-old-feng: but 老爸, your tummy so comfortable!!! hehe *falls asleep, drifting into dreamland*

In the car with Mummy on the way to Mandai, listening to one of dad's fav song, 'five million miles away', with a weird looking and heavy urn on my lap
10-yr-old-feng: 妈, not fair... I hate 老爸... I hate this song...
10-yr-old-feng thinking: it's not suppose to be like that...
Mummy: "silent"...

Maybe things would have been different.
Maybe things could have been better.
Maybe things could have been worst.

But, from all, I learn.
learn...
to miss
to hate
to love
to be loved
to lose
to take things for granted
to not take things for granted
to appreciate
to give
to take
to remember
to forget
to take it to heart
to forgive
to let go
to be serious
to take things easy
to smile
to laugh
to cry
to be bitter
to be jealous
to get heart broken
to tolerate
to experience
to move on
to create
to accept

......

Cherish

================================================================================================

I Wish I had someone...
to star gaze with
to swim with
to ice-skate with
to laugh with
to cry with
to stroll on the sandy beach with
to chat till wee hours with
to smell the flowers with
to enjoy Norah jones music with
to read a novel over a cuppa with
to dance with
to hold hands with
to hug with
to fall asleep in the arms with
to seat right beside me there at the reservoir just now
to walk with for a long long time...

Smoochy Chapter 8 ~ To chase away monday, tuesday and wednesday, thursday or whatever blues~ =)

Wanted to write about the wonderful sunday i had... But someone's just too busy to upload the photos. haha! p PLUS someone at work commented how my blog is now full of FOOD and FOOD, which explains my size. So decided to put in other stuff istead of food. Right Chin? rolleyes Oh oh! and i learnt a new idiom from a very nice colleague, Ms Ng Ai Hoon (oso my blog reader too!).
敲扳定案= which means to conclude or confirm! hehe so happy! new vocab, but hopefully i got the meaning and characters right. hehe

Ok....Some funny emails i got for you guys to enjoy at work!

Corporate Lesson 1[/U]
A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower when the doorbell rings. After a few seconds of arguing over which one should go and answer the doorbell, the wife gives up, quickly wraps herself up in a towel and runs downstairs.

When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next-door neighbour. Before she says a word, Bob says, "I'll give you $800 to drop that towel that you have on."

After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob. After a few seconds, Bob hands her 800 dollars and leaves. Confused, but excited about her good fortune, the woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs.

When she gets back to the bathroom, her husband asks from the shower, "Who was that?"
"It was Bob the next door neighbor," she replies.

"Great!" the husband says, "Did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?"

Moral of the story: If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk in time with your stakeholders, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable exposure.

Corporate Lesson 2[/U]
A priest was driving along and saw a nun on the side of the road, he stoppedand offered her a lift, which she accepted. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to open and reveal a lovely leg.

The priest had a look and nearly had an accident. After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg. The nun looked at him and immediately said, "Father, remember Psalm 129?" The priest was flustered and apologized profusely. He forced himself to remove his hand.

Changing gear, he let his hand slide up her leg again. The nun once again said, "Father, remember Psalm 129?" Once again the priest apologized, "Sorry sister, but the flesh is weak."

Arriving at the convent, the nun got out, gave him a meaningful glance and went on her way. On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to retrieve a bible and looked up Psalm 129.

It said, "Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory."

Moral of the story: Always be well informed in your job, or you might miss a great opportunity.

Corporate Lesson 3[/U]
A sales rep, an administration clerk and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out in a puff of smoke.

The Genie says, "I usually only grant three wishes, so I'll give each of you just one."

"Me first! Me first!" says the admin clerk. "I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world." Poof! She's gone.

In astonishment, "Me next! Me next!" says the sales rep. "I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of pina coladas and the love of my life." Poof! He's gone.

"OK, you're up," the Genie says to the manager.

The manager says, "I want those two back in the office after lunch."

Moral of the story: Always let your boss have the first say.

Corporate Lesson 4[/U]
A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A small rabbit saw the crow, and asked him, "Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day long?"

The crow answered, "Sure, why not."

So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow, and rested. All of a sudden a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Moral of the story: To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Corporate Lesson 5[/U]
A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree," sighed the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy."

"Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull. "They're packed with nutrients." The turkey pecked at a lump of dung and found that it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree.

The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, there he was proudly perched at the top of the tree.

Soon, he was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot the turkey out of the tree.

Moral of the story: Bullshit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there for long.

Corporate Lesson 6[/U]
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground in a large field.

While it was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on it. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how warm it was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Moral of the story:
1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

Hope you had some good laughs! jester

Smoochy Chapter 7 ~ Best leave i ever took! plus wonderful weekend *smilez* and Happy Birthday DUCK!!!!!!!!!=)

Can you believe it! I was actually home before 12mid night!!?? OMG... It has been a great week! Definitely looking forward to this coming week=)
As usual, I'm totally worn out again, but quite happy:D SO my dear blog readers, how has your week been?

19 March 2009, Thursday[/B]
Yes I took leave!!! haha! Was school holidays at my work place,so figure out it's the best time to take leave. And I'm so glad i did! =) Spend the morning having breakfast with my mum, and did some grocery shopping together. Something so simple, yet so enjoyable. Think i really miss my mum. Wonder if she misses me too.
Mummy having very nice porridge at the newly renovated market around my place=) [/I]
I have no idea why, but i'll always go GAGA when i see this kinda shops. Suddenly i'll be like "Mummy, i want that biscuit, i want that cookie, i want that roll, etc.." Just like when i was younger. haha Love this shop! The only difference no is that, she will go "go ahead and buy anything you want" where i'll be counting calories and end up no buying whereas in the past, she will go like "no... you eat some more, cannot go through the door" but still end up with tonnes of sinful tibits. haha what an irony...[/I]

After a nice morning with mummy, spent sometime with another salsa friend, swimming, chatting and enjoying jacuzzi session at Yishun SAFRA and headed down to this Youth Flying Club to have some Spicy spicy buffalo wings and beer. On the way to the youth flying club, detoured to this place, which am still clueless what is the road name! My dad use to bring me there very often when i was young to catch small fishes or just chill out. Very nostalgic...didn't realize how much i actually missed him..
This is the left side of the road which faces Malaysia. (sea) [/I]
This is the right side of the road which is Singapore's reservoir. [/I]

The weather was superb, with soft ray, blue sky, light breeze=) I'm happy[/I]

Finally at the Singapore Flying Club! for wings and beer! =)[/I]

Level 3 and already dying...[/I]
Finale, both died after the wings...lol..i had 2, and he had 4 so think he 'died' more...[/I]

Brendan was kind to send me to salsa=) thanks dude! Enjoyed bachata class really much with Libin, he's great! and had loads of fun social salsa-ing with David and my fav. instructor Albert=) And of coz, nothing beats great company with YuanLee, Ivan, Jo and Terrence=) Ivan came down to Xenbar, haha , for some reason...But he did had fun i guess, so did i! lolz. In the end, besides teaching him a little salsa which he picked up really fast, he taught yuan lee and i a little ballroom dancing too. SO NICE!!!=) Ivan's a hilarious colleague. Ivan, if you are reading this, YOU WERE DARN FUNNY on the dance floor... haha I had loads of fun. And as usual, the 'forever-hungry-but-eat-till-dunnoe-go-where" Ivan, was screaming for supper again. It's amazing how much he eats, but still stay so lean.
Jo and Terrence joined us for supper around my place at upp thomson prata place=) cute aren't they hehe[/I]
All of us! =)[/I]
The sinful but really delicious stuff!!!and mind you, this was at 12:50AM already![/I]
Someone still screamed hungry!!!OMG and this is 1:50am!!! and the mac around my place. Ivan's really CRAZY!!! ok, i think i'm just jealous. Coz i just can't afford to eat like him... darn...[/I]

And i reached home at 3am plus!!!! omg..by the time i hit the hay, it was already 4am~~~ You have to agree that I'm really utilizing my day off to the fullest isn't it? yes

20 March 2009, Friday[/B]
Another exciting day of food and celebration! As promised, Chin brought Godma and I to Sempang Bedok for the super duper nice pork knuckles and yong tau foo!! omg...this is my rating: 8.7/10 !!! really really good! PM me if you want to know exactly where it is. If not i'm just going to be selfish and not tell anyone.. hahah, ok la, I just can't remember the address. But I can direct you there if you want=)
Sinful again!!![/I]

In the evening, we had a birthday celebration for Duck=)
Happy 24th Birthday DUCK CHAN XUELI!!! hehe =)
Although the dinner sucks big time. But i loved the ambiance. And of coz, the great company of my super long long long known friends=) Had loads of fun at Marina Barrage after dinner. More photos to come=)

21 March 2009, Saturday[/B]
As usual, went down to BNSS to teach again. was so tired though. lolz, yesh, i'm just being stupid for staying ou so late with my friends. after teaching, shopped a bit. ok..not really a bit...quite a bit..hehe... had fun spending some time with myself. And then met up with Ivan for dinner. Went down to a coffee shop at toa Payoh call "Ocean Curry" recommended by Jo who happens to work there=). IT was GOOOD...hehe i wasn't really hungry. So only have a few mouthful. And Ivan, being ever so hungry ordered SO MUCH SOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo much food for just the two of us. Luckily, Jo joined in later to help a little.

I know it's amazing how someone can really eat so much... I'm wondering too. Hopefully i'm no scaring away all your potential partners Ivan, haha p

I had a really good outing today with Calvin too=) shall update again when the photos are out=)
Till the next blog~ Smoochies!~heart

Smoochy Chapter 6 ~ I'm really happy with my life now=)

I'm so slow to blogging! Have to admit that all the late nights are really wearing me off quite a bit.
But really! I think i'm having one of the best time of my life at the moment. Finally graduated, enjoying my work, enjoying salsa, volleyball, badminton, meeting up with all my friends, partying away, seeing my friends getting married and giving birth, etc. The only complaint is that I'm just not spending enough time with my family. Quite difficult to understand myself sometimes. Haha. Here I am complaining that i'm not spending enough time with them and here I am placing almost all the activities before them. someone wake me up please!

14 March 2009, Saturday[/U]
It was a really busy day! visited my dad at Mandai in the morning(if you know what i mean) haha. Hope he's doing well at god knows where. =) Had a good lunch at AMK Hub Ichiban Bushi with my family after that.

I fell in love with a new dish, and am totally craving for it now![/I]

After the mad rush in the morning, i had a mad rush to Chiang's place for Arielle's 1 Month Party!!! =)
The Chiang Family! They really look so in love and blessed! Now that Arielle's out to this world, It's a whole new journey for Chiang and Khai Ling already=) Have loads of fun![/I]

A shot with 偉大的媽媽!and the maker of Arielle Chiang Khai Xi![/I]

Isn't she the most beautiful angel! Her hands are so small and cute! She's really an angel! only thing is, she slept through her party (even while she was fed) haha amazing![/I]

Here's a little video of them plus Ah Yiau and Kartik! =)

Met up with Mr L for dinner and movie after the party. Enjoyed a wonderful evening! =)
Went up to mount emily and had a great dinner at Wild Rockets in Hang out Hotel. Although the names are really cheesy, but i thought the place was really good. The food, ambience, music, and people=)
Thanks to chin for his recommendation AGAIN!
[/I]

That's our appetizer. simple bread with the very fragrant olive oil.[/I]

When the dish was presented to us, I was actually kinda disappointed. But when i tasted it, I was really blown away! both by the taste and the spiciness. lolz It was SO GOOD!!! and different from those oild soft shell crab when we have in those Jap restaurants! Plus a little of the restaurant's self made thick pepper sauce, which amde the entire dish even better! OMG thinking about it is already mouth-watering!!! yum yum! hehe[/I]

Crab Linguini! That's mine! DELICIOUS! =) nicely done! although Mr L thought that the linguini could have been softer, it was just nice for me though.yums!!![/I]

And this is the Duck Leg confit ordered by Mr L. Oh man it was even much better than mine lor!!! the skin, meat and FATs! lolz...yums![/I]

The Choco Lava! yums! Look at how the Lava flows...omg YUM[/I]

Tada! the Glutton me! =)[/I]

And that's Mr L. I've to thank him for his great patience for tolerating my incessant photo-taking craze. lolz and for being just great company! =) [/I]
And that's us with the very nice and suave Chef! So gald i got a few shots with the busy man! And he's really nice=) if only... hehe[/I]

Yes, I'm dreaming again... if only... hehehe..imagine if you have a husband who can cook so well and at the same time so smart! lolz ***Day dreaming***[/I]

Ok Mr L's name is Calvin. and he's really sporting hehe... beside tolerating my photo-taking craze, he's my model too![/I]

The very nice rooftop over seeing the city=) will definitely go back again with my novel and just sit there and read...[/I]

Oh i didn't mention. Calvin's a great baker (as he said so, lolz)

They are citrus and pandan chiffon cakes. Truthfully, they are really nicely done. Well done Calvin! =)[/I]

Oh and Calvin! CONGRATS to the new move=) really excited for you! Sounds like a really exciting thing to do and a really wonderful opportunity! Pray hard for me that it will be my turn too! =)

Got tickets to catch a midnight show "Departure" and headed to TCC for a drink. haha it was like science lesson! Now i know more about flour and baking powder. It's nice to have a food technologist as a friend haha! And yesh! i found a mid-night movie companion! haha so happY! plus a shoppoholic too! hahah...sounds like trouble right. lolz...

Anyway, the movie was good!!! Bits and pieces of really funny scenes here and there. The flow was actually really good. Can make you laugh and then cry the next moment. There was a few moment that were so raw and familiar to me, got my heart clenched. all in all i rate this movie 8/10.

All in all, i enjoyed myself thoroughly over the weekend and am looking for to the next again! Thanks Calvin! You are great company and 'gentleman' haha=)

Till the next blog...

Smoochy Chapter 5 ~ People around me... =-)

Finally some time to blog (Beware, it might be a really long post)... My dear readers (if any, haha). Don't worry, i've not stopped blogging. In fact, i missed it so much! Have been too caught up with too many things, events, friends, family and activities. hopefully i can remember every single of those very interesting events.

27th Feb (Friday)
Work was 'fun' as usual. lolz the real fun kicked in later the day. Had dinner with Mr HA @ Esplanade Sour puss. Not exactly the kind of place i would dine in. But well, it's always good to have a change.

Here's Mr HA advertising for SourPuss... haha

My Masala Fish n Chips. The last time i met Mr HA, i was having that too. haha and seriously, although it tasted alright. Maybe Fish & Chips isn't my cup of tea after all...

And here's his pepper chicken if i didn't remember wrongly. Mr HA finished his food. So i guess it was good? =)
Here's my ratings for it:
Taste: 6.5/10
Variety: 5/10
Ambiance: 5/10
Value for money: 6.5/10

And this is the address of Sourpuss.
Esplanade Restaurants
#01-13E, 8 Raffles Avenue S(039802)
Tel: 6338 9003

If you are looking for some outdoor, halal food, you can give it a try. But if you can't stand cooking smoke and stuff, do give it a miss=)

That rounds of my Friday...

28th Feb (Friday)
The days seems to be passing faster and faster!!! OMG...Went badminton with the FB peeps again:

Tiring game, but fun as usual. I'm starting to get a little worried though. I seem to be perspiring too much these days. GOod or bad? not too sure. Just hope i'm not dehydrating before i can even hydrate myself.
After the badminton session. Rushed to novena to meet my mum and sis=) bought stuff together, accompanied my mum for her massage, did a little shopping and indulged in a cup of bubble tea with my sis. =) it was a nice, simple outing. Reminds me how much i actually miss spending time with them. Although i don't ever say it...I really love them very very much. Just don't know why i never seem to be able to tell them that. Stupid Asian Mentality? lolz. or maybe it's just me la.

Anyway, wen, huisi and dear dear averlyn came over my place after that... lolz.. and as usual, my mum was THRILLED! You know how mums are crazy over babies. lolz.. and every time, she will go like 'i'm waiting for my grandson' haha...funny. Coz in order to have grandson, i mus at least have a bf first right? lolz...she's funny la... here are some cute cute averlyn photos and a cute video of Averlyn attempting Yakault.lol

That's the proud mother Amber and the very blessed angel Averlyn=)

And here's Huisi, the soon to be very very good wife and good mother to be=)

And there, Evidence that babies do weird things to mothers, they go all gaga and baby talks lolz...

and OH DEAR!!! i'm going to be late for Philwinds!!! ahh....will continue my blog on my JB trip and a special dinner with Mr L when i'm back from home later! =)
Smooches!~

Smoochy Chapter 4 ~ Road Run, colleagues, food, baby, doggy salon experience??!!, smiles and laughters

If you stand near enough, you might hear my bone squeaking and cracking away. Haha! Alright, I'm just exaggerating. But I'm my body's like aching here and there especially with so much activities going on lately. But i bet Ms young will be saying, "aches are good! I love aches" haha.

On Tue, had a 2 hour intense and really fun and funny badminton session in school with my colleagues, weihui, Mr Khor (forever mumbling away, haha but without him it wouldn't have been so fun haha), ChewHS Pro, Raihan, Yati, Rosna, KKK and a fb badminton friend, Edmund. Finally bought myself a better racket!!! So happy! Looking forward to Saturday's Badminton session with FB peeps again. =) Oh i have to say that KKK (my colleague) is really really REALLY pro!!! oMG, I totally didn't expect him to be this good, as in really really really tai chi good!!! his strokes are all so nicely and cheekily and strategically played! He made me realize that badminton is in fact a brainy game after all. It is definitely not as simple as it seems. All in all, I'm so looking forward to another game with my dear colleagues! smile

Just as true as what weihui and KKK mentioned, it was totally a bad idea to play badminton on Tue.
BECAUSE:
haha,Yesh we had road run the next day @ 7.40am!!! hahah OMG... well, although they voiced their concerns, they were still tempted haha. Also, part of the reason for me insisting the game is due to a sinful breakfast i participated on tue morning with my other partners-in-crime:
That's Ivan Sum!!! Constantly bump into him at the pantry during breakfast, unfortunately haha j/k, he is always equipped with tonnes and tonnes of delicacies like black chicken soup, a dozen of chicken wings, a whole big pot of don't know what haha[/I]

Oh did i mention that we were invading Chin's Ice-SCREAMA!!! hehe *Guilty* ahaha, Don't worry Chin, we will refill it when we are done with it hahaha[/I]

Anyway, below are some photos we took at the road run. Oh and i have to confess yet another thing. hehe
I was SUPER DUPER Late haha.. instead of 7.40am, think i reached there only at 9.30am. hehe And not in running shoes but in blades. Hahahah wah...Looking at myself, i ought to be spanked man. lolz...
Beautiful right? I was enjoying the really beautiful scenery while slowly blading to the meeting point. It's so rare that i can be at ECP blading so peacefully on a weekday morning. Totally enjoyable and addictive. So going to take leave one day to do that again![/I]

By the time i reached there, the race was over! haha and the students were all going wild and high with cheers, laughter, dance and each others' company=) I hope they will learn to treasure all these memorable and wonderful moments =)[/I]
That's me, Terry & Agnes. Love them to bits and pieces![/I]
ANd of coz, what's any fun day without good food, company and laughter! =)[/I]
Yummy hotpot...Oh am i'm hungry now...[/I]

Flushing all the deliciously-super-sinful food down my bottomless tummy haha[/I]

Isn't she adorable? YewHoong's lovely princess, Er Xuan =)[/I]
Er Xuan's so so bless with such wonderful parents (dad-top, mum-below)! er Xuan mus grow up to be the most sensible and loveliest girl yea~[/I]

It was really a wonderful lunch! really enjoyable=)

Since the day ended early so me, I decided(after thinking about it for ages) to trim my hair and dye my hair black. It's quite a move for me actually. Finally getting rid of the head of gold into my oriental self again. Also a sign that i've finally moved on. I'm not thinking of neither anymore. The 2 who i somehow foolishly dyed hair for. stupid me. haha
Luckily i had Lola to accompany me through this somehow emotional and nostalgic salon experience.
When do you actually have a dog to accompany you while u do your hair? lolz I'm truly blessed in some ways.

Expecting me to post my Oriental Look ??? lolz. Neh. Come catch me! =) A good excuse to come catch up with me=)

TOnnes and tonnes more to write... it's never ending isn't it lolz.
TIll My next bloggie....heart smooches...
