Carpet cleaning needs to be undertaken as regularly as possible for various reasons. One of the reasons why carpets need to be kept clean is because this prolongs their life. It is not always possible to know how dirty a carpet is by looking at it. This is because the accumulation of dirt happens inside its fibers and cannot be seen. Its surface may look relatively clean but the deep parts it are where most of the dirt is embedded. A carpet that is visibly dirty is an indication of even more filth within the fabric. Carpets that are cleaned frequently last longer than those that are not. Dirty ones wear out very quickly as the fabric cannot withstand the excessive pile up of dirt over a period of time. Walking on it further causes the dirt to aggravate the surface, making it even more damaged.
