Tomorrow is a promise
that may fail to keep.
But today is not enough
a heap of thoughts and a 'to do' list all jumbled up,
I lie blanketed with spikes ,a real bite.
I scowl and groan
then dusk falls
dragging the sun underneath
Did I give my all?
not sure though..
Its a long road..
I sigh wearily thinking to myself
'tomorrow tomorrow
I gotta finish it all up!'
Yet tomorrow my dears is a promise that my fail to keep!
