Generally speaking, this movie is worth seeing. It shows the the dark part of each of us, it shows how we try to lose everything in order to reach our main aim, the aim of fame--this invisible desire of self--assurance.Black and white? two antoginistic colors, two enemies which try to struggle with each other.The main character is in the real trap of her imagination, the play of her imagination has become her essence, her stimulation to the performance.
Aronofsky could depict this just desire to the main aims but he could show us the loss of id, our ego.
