THE DOUGHNUT!
When i was a little girl, my mother on her way home from work, would stop by the local "Bake Shop", and buy me some pastries. When i came to America in 1974, it did not take long for me to discover, i think, "The Best Doughnut" i have ever eaten.
The train ride was 35cents, and "The Doughnut" was 15cents. Every morning on my way to school, i saw a deliveryman delivering my fav doughnuts, in the old fashion manner. On a tray they came, open to the air, i think, in a case they went. Here is my 15cents.
Do you remember this doughnut? Large, extremely soft, with a hole, and a thin white glaze, of frosting. Yum, yum. Years went by, i did not buy any, who knows what happened. Well, well, what do i bump into looking different? That old fashioned doughnut, that cost 15cents, delivered every morning, taste so good. "NOW ENCASED IN PLASTIC" times change. I believe it is a dollar now.

STORE WITH STYLE! & A BLESSING!
"When i first started hanging around Manhattan, New York, i came upon two stores that i liked. One was Alexanders department store, good for designer bras at a low price, and the other was Bloomingdales. Both stores had something for me.
I noticed quite a bit about both stores, especially Bloomingdales. This store was packed with beautiful merchandize, and people. It needed to change, and change came. I left and returned 10 plus years later. I was impressed. Spacious, service, and a "Handsome" young man in a suit, tie, and name tag, greeting the customers.
If he was there 10 years before, i did not notice. Folks, to make a long story short, if high standards had a smell, it would smell like Roses. Let me not forget, the neatest clearance rack, of long nightgowns. "I KNOW BLOOMINDALES WAS BLESSED"
