Dear Wen Hao,
I have been learning Mandarin Chinese for about two years but seem to be unable to progress beyond a certain point. I know many words, and am able to speak short simple sentences but I am not able to construct conversational sentences in my head.
How can I get past this difficult stage, can you advise me please.
I suppose I should tell you a little about myself, I am an Englishman, but I live in China in Zhanjiang, Guangdong. I am married to a Chinese lady and we have one daughter.

fucking joke. if wenhao is a singaporean, his mandarin can't be that good coz he ain't a fucking native speaker of the language. singaporeans are native speakers of singlish...
