Kids and the meaning of life

If you want to learn about the meaning of life - hang out with some kids for a while - the younger the better.
No, I don't mean to buy into everything thing they believe - the world is more dangerous than they suspect - and friendly people aren't always the good guys.
But there is a sense of joy with most kids that is probably closer to the true meaning of life than when we mature and get caught up in the necessary complexities of life and community.
Luckily, because I'm a stay at home Dad I get to spend quite a lot of time with my kids - so much that it seemed odd when my 5 year old started Kindergarten recently.
But he loves it. And in the not-too-distant future I'll have to get used to my 3 year old not being around as well.
