Port Douglas

We planned to just stop for a coffee in Port Douglas, but Chris and I decided to stay here, as the others planned to be on a boat for a 3-day diving course.
Was the best decision yet on the trip. On the 1st day we went out to the Great Barrier Reef with a sailing boat. Only 10 people on the boat. The snorkeling was a bit tough, because of the rougher sea and due to the fact that I have never snorkeled before. But where else to start than on the Reef?
In the evening a great dinner with kangaroo and duck and australian wine. 2nd Day: hiring a Moke (mix between buggy and a Mini), playing a round of golf and Mossman Golfclub, evening again with pasta and wine and live music. 3rd day lying on the pool.
Just great!
Next day Ralf picked us up, we went with the Skyrail to Kuranda (where everything was already closed). Evening in Carins, and flying to Sydney. On my own again.
