TRUST (2)
We established yesterday that the benefits of trusting outweighs not trusting because we are created to explore life we can't do that by not trusting everyone that comes our way, we also don't want to be limited by our own fears.
What we need to do is to understand that we all are mortals, none of us is omnipresent, omniscients, infallible, invincible. There's a limit to our knowledge, our abilities and our capacity. Time and chance happen to us all.
So what do we do to avoid the pitfalls associated with the betrayal of trust? We can't control others but we can control ourselves.
After taking into consideration the characteristics of man mentioned earlier.
Stop depending on others.
Be realistic about the ability of others.
Do it yourself since you can.
Try as much as possible to avoid any transaction that is not interdependent, mutually beneficial.
Know your own role and fulfill it.
Avoid transferring your own responsibility to others.
Don't forget life is a learning process. Take the past betrayal of trust as a lesson, learn, do and become more, then you will be too tall to be brought down by the actions or inactions of others.
God bless you. I trust you to grow in wisdom.
Have a blessed day.
