Are you a victim?
I had a discussions with some men who kept piling reasons on me why I should feel resentment, bitterness, angry over the government, politicians and rich men. They couldn't understand why I couldn't see a single reason to. I saw no single reason why I should feel the way they felt. I mean why should I? We all came into this world empty and what we become is what we in partnership with the world make of ourselves.
Make no mistake I'm concerned about the social-political situation of my country. But I'm not a victim, I don't have a victim mentality. I'm a victor, I've a victor mentality. I believe you see yourself that way too. The scriptures says as you think so you are. If you always think you're a victim that's what you are and that's what you'll always be, and that would be whose fault?
