Your greatest asset
Many may not immediately see how our body and it's well being is a great asset and this may be due to the kind of attention we pay to it or the lack of knowledge of its importance. Until we lose what we have we seldom don't know it's value.
I'm not talking make-up and expensive clothes and perfumes.
I'm talking health here, you may have heard the popular saying "health is wealth" it is true.
Personal hygiene, taking our baths, brushing our teeth, cleaning our surroundings, wearing clean clothes are necessary to live healthy.
Exercising has been found to promote health, increase alertness and enhance long life. Don't sit down for too long, take a thirty minutes walk about four times in a week, rest adequately.
There are bad eating habits. Like eating indiscriminately, eating lots of junk foods, and even eating late.
Deworming our body at intervals is medically advised. When last did you deworm your body.
In nutrition we see the functions and the importance of certain foods. Eating of fruits are encouraged, drinking lots of water is good.
In psychodietetics the study that deals with how what we eat affects our mental health reveals how some of the food we eat depresses us. There are some other foods that also boost our mental alertness.
We should spend time to find out what the properties and functions of the food we eat.
Avoid stress.
Going for medical check up is very important.
Our body is the greatest gift that has been given to us on this earth we should manage it wisely.
It is worthy to note that all life wants from us is to take care of our body. It is only in that way we will be able to enjoy life.
