Moving from point A to point B

Our first mission is to study the way people moves on this planet. Seems like there's a lot of them:
- Using 'legs': Placing one foot after another is the key principle to master this method. This is the most common and it seems the most natural way for those earthians to go from a place to another.
- Using boxes: Another widely used method is getting inside a box and then doing some kind of magic so that the box moves. Called 'car', 'bus', 'train', 'airplane', 'boat', there are a lot variety of boxes.
* Car : cars are the most produced type of box, even though there's a lot of different shapes and power. It seems that cars do eat some water based substance that it transform into nasty smelling clouds.
* Bus : Similar to cars but longer. People gets in those in order to be pushed from one to another.
* Train : Similar to bus but even longer. The price to pay for the great size seems to be that it's impossible for a train to act his free will. Metalic bars avoid it from moving freely. This is some kind of oppression
i might say, but we're not here to protect everyone...
* Airplane : This kind of box is the only few to be able to move without kissing the road. Still, they are
quite slow compared to the spaceship we used to come here.
* Boat : Basically, it's a box that do not sink. Well, sometime it does, and most of the time it happens, some black sticky fluid tend to come out of it.
When moving, people on this planet likes to stop often. We came to the conclusion that they might like beeing in a box, that's why they move so slowly...
It was report #001. Over.

Preliminary report about the new planet discovery

Day X Month O

As stated on our previous meeting, the XR1475Z4 planet seems to harbour life. Even though we don't know yet about any intelligent life form, I strongly believe in the fact that this is worth investigating. The amount of datas we'll be able to collect might be worth the effort.
That's why I'm volunteering for a recognition flight.

Day Y Month O

Our mission is set to start on 4 days starting from now. I'm quite proud to be the captain of this mission, and my crew seems alright with me being their captain.

Day Z Month P

After a not so long light speed travel, we finally arrived to our destination. The planet has water on approximatly half of its surface, and the presence of human beings has been confirmed. Our first mission has been to identify ourselves as locals. Surprisingly, it's been one of our simpliest task. In our next report, we'll have a first view about the planet...
