I am editing this, because it has nothing to do with Opera. To ALL teenaged boys undignified enough to make lewd propositions to decorous young ladies on school buses, here is a more appropriate bus for you. The Law does not favor your actions. Statistics show you will have a failed marriage one day *if a woman will have you.*
Counseling is available to you free of charge, and 24-hour phone crisis calls can be made at any time for prevention of this horrid crime against the innocent. Do it.
To all people in positions where sexual, verbal and psychological harassment is reported, it is a good idea to have regular sensitivity training to update and keep abreast of current standards and procedures. Follow them.

I had been hesitant to poste because I was unsure if I was required to remove the Blog. The original Blog was less broad.
Yes this is so. For months my daughter endured sexual, physical and verbal harassment on the schoolbus at the hands of 4 boys--2 older, 2 younger--of which none sat in their respective assigned seating arrangements. Instead they arranged them selves 2 in front of her and 2 in back of her, for playing with her hair, and to tell her to SUCK MY *OCK, and more of the like. When she did not respond ... one boy said to another to slap her. He raised he hand to her. She raised hers to defend her self, naturally. And he grabbed her wrist with much force to prevent her, for the opportunity to slap her with his other hand then. There is more, such as rubbing of her leg and so on ...
When I assisted her in coming forward the MAN in charge (a woman will have been less intimidating) stated it is his belief the boy behaves this way because he fancies her.
Am I to sit and allow this man to speak to my daughter this way? I think no. This is not appropriate. This is 2oo8, not acceptable for thinking such things. Womens rights afforded this backwoods-toothless-farmboy-idiot-good-for-nothing thinking to be put to rest a long time ago! Where has this man been all of this time!?!
~His solution is to isolate her in the front of the schoolbus. And allow the guilty boys to roam all over the bus per usual, unattended, unpunished. Such a great disciplinarian this man is, and how serious he takes his job. Our lawyer is amused by this, and makes note of this.
~My daughter is now harassed (ostracised) by schoolmates, as well the schoolbus driver--once friendly--now indifferent (bitter).
~My daughter plans to move to her Aunts home this Summer season.
shall this be the case, shall this occur due to the lack of action of the school and protection of the school personnel ... let us just see how ugly I can be. I can be of the not-nice variety when encouraged.
I saw this smug individual--the boy who hit my daughter--walking, looking like he thinks he is a tough man, down a main street in the small town ... there are photos of this town in my Amish Photo collection ... and my daughter needed to beg and beg some more to me NOT for me to stop the car and confront this boy and give him a talking to. Of respect and respect alone for her, this I can do. Catch me alone ... this is another picture.
My daughters are my life. With all breath I have, I will defend them.

This is simply unacceptable behaviour and those in charge should feel ashamed of themselves and sort it out immediately. For starters the boys should be banned from using the bus.
Are you friends with other parents, who you could launch a campaign with? You could get a local newspaper to cover it to force the school/school bus operator to sort things out. Children who sexually abuse others, most often continue to do so. The earlier these sick boys are treated for their abusive behaviour the better. They're paedophiles in waiting.

I am not having good results on my own. All is filtered with the lawyer for this reason. I am performing at his instruction however and when he says to put in a Police report then so be so. Ah happy Day! I will push for arrest if possible.
