Opera - Transfers tab - "Explore" or "Open Containing Folder" contextmenu
Monday, 12. January 2009, 20:49:38
Why was this removed?
(I hate it when "updates" remove useful features.)
Does anyone know a hack to re-enable it if you don't want to upgrade
to the latest version of Opera?
(According to http://www.archivum.info/opera.general/2007-10/msg00170.html (reprinted below for your convenience)
it was planned to be added in Opera 9.5).
Could someone please confirm or deny that the feature (on Windows) has been re-added?
[I'm running 9.0 at the moment, and it's missing...]

Hello All,
I am searching for an option to quickly get into the folder where
Opera downloaded something ( for example to delete older versions
of the download). I rmember sometimes there was an "Explore"
context menu item available in the Transfers tab. I cannot find it
anymore.
Any advice where I could find this option ( an "Explore" or "Open
Containing Folder" context menu for downloads ) ??

This will be available for all platforms in Opera 9.5.
