SOMETIMES I RANT...

Great day, great weekend of relaxation.

I got some onions planted - the digging and refreshing of the garden bed was very satisfying! It's raining again, quite hard, so I don't need to worry about watering the new plantings. In fact, it would be nice if things dried out a bit. Weather forecast says it will be sunny and dry after tomorrow. We'll see! The yard is ridiculously soggy - it squooshes every time I walk across it! And the grass is getting very tall, what with all the rain and warmish weather. Kitty doesn't think too highly of it, and some mornings when she comes in she is SOAKED. She's not a fan of the tall grass, and has worn trails into the yard for her travels...

Oh my, I've just had a blast from my past - remembering the first big concert I ever went to. The Commodores!

Heh. I suppose I did see Anne Murray when I was much younger, but that barely counts. The Commodores were really my first foray into the love of live music... who knew I'd end up where I am now! I love the music, but I also love capturing the action with my camera.

Sonic Youth

Tom Watson

Aaron Behrens

We'd go out more often, if it wasn't so blasted far! The next live show we have on our docket is Midlake, on March 7th. I'm really looking forward to it!

Well. I've done a lot here - time for bed!

Strange weather we're having...Blech
