SOMETIMES I RANT...

I have loved Vaartina for years and years - ever since I came across one of the CDs at the library. Their voices, the rhythm of their songs... it brings great joy to me!

I've had a soft spot in my heart and ears for "world music" for a good long time - meaning anything that comes from other than America. So much out there, so good!

One of the most vibrant performers I have ever seen was Manu Chou, three years ago at the Sasquatch Festival. The energy of his show was amazing!



Take that upbeat tempo, for a good hour... awesome.
