Well, I have learnt a new trick. If eggs are boiled and then, while they are warm, decorated with wax crayons, when they are dipped in coloured dye, they come out looking pretty good. They need a hole in the end to make sure they don't crack - they say - but I am not convinced of that - maybe they need to be boiled after starting in cold water?
Another neat Easter adventure is to make a sweet bread dough and use it to make Easter bunnies that hold raw eggs. When the bunnies are cooked, so are the eggs. Raisins are good for eyes etc but also other things.
These are fun activities and can be modified in many ways.
