Social life review

Today I decided to try out the new social life app in the get it now store!I must say this little app is awesome! Im using it on the Dare and what it does is it gathers all your favorite social sites(well most of them) like myspace, black planet, rabble ect, your able to do almost everything that you can do on your pc! Its nice because you dont have to bother with going on the web.Thr interface is great, simple and very easy to use. I've been using the photobucket and myspace apps all day and its crazy because you can post comments, change your profile pic, upload pics to your myspace or photobucket! you can update your status or try out some of the other sits right from the app! I signed up for faithbase which is a Christian social site within the app and uploaded a freash pic and blogged with in 22 mins! If you cant get enough of myspace, photobucket or rabble and many others! check this app out its worth $1.49 per month!

Well well well

As I said eariler I'm back using my curve and I'm kinda happy! Its really nice having keys to push lol. Any ways I took a stroll in to the local Att store the other day and used a iphone for the first time! Now I'm not a apple hater but I don't know. The phone itself was a joy to use as I went in the store open minded and I tried my best not to compair it to anything I have used in the past. For starters typing on it was actully very nice, I had very few mistakes and how it determind my words was top notch. To be cont.............

Oh yea my blog!

Well hey there its been a while I been so busy with those forums that I forgot about my blog geeeezzzzz! So for starters I'm back on my bb curve. Please don't ask its a long story. But I will be sure to update soon. Laters

Oh Dare pt2!

Soooo I got my new replacement Dare and what can i say? my old phone was broken in and texting was a breeze . Now with my replacement it almost night and day! my typing is off everything is new and stiff and so not broken in! But I will be happy because it works and all my data is there.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my Dare went back today! Last night I was using the web at work and the hard keys would not work? the touch screen was fine but no key action! Of course I couldnt power the thing down so I took the battery out. When I put it back In and hit the power button it powered up so I hit all the buttons a few times and went back to the web. As I opened my favs I noticed the had all changed! there were no words just like a letter and a single number or blank! now Im gitting pissed so I open my contacts and half of those were gone! WTFFFFFk! So I took it in this morning and the tech was like wow we havent had any of these come back yet your the first one? they also dont know what happend but they swapped it out and the one I have now seems good! and I was able to recover all my contacts with wireless back up.

just a quick update

well it looks like them boys have been at it again! The iphone 3g has been jailbroke already! I guess I thought it would take longer. I will try and post the video tonight. see ya!

Oh Dare (lol)

So I have had my Lg Dare now for about 3 weeks and I cant help but feeling a little torn? Sure I love this phone for its size and ease of use but the browser some times can be hard to use. Now I do a lot of web browsing and as far as that it works quite well but if I try to blog online it sometimes gives me a problem. After using the Dare and gitting use to the speedy rev a Evdo I really dont want to go back to paying 30 to 45 bucks for a data plan! Well I guess I will have to keep it (lol),cant always have your cake and eat it to! And as for the guy that emailed me, No I will not get a Iphone! Att's service is no good where I live and work. later yall!

Live shots of the blackberry thunder via crackberry.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a quick recap of the details we brought you last week on the Thunder's touchscreen display:

Tactile Response - when you press on the Thunder's screen, it pushes in "just" a little bit (the whole screen is sort of like a big button) and you get immediate "real" feedback - you hear an audible clickety sound, and can feel a buzz in your finger where you actually pressed on the display.
Full QWERTY and SureType entry - hold the phone in landscape mode and you can take advantage of a full-qwerty keypad. Use the phone in portrait mode and you can enter data on a SureType keyboard. You will be able to choose/change your screen/keyboard orientation at anytime.
Screen is made of glass and will feature multi-touch - the Thunder is said to be utilizing WebKit for it's browser engine (same as the iPhone), so hopefully that means a solid web browsing experience for the Thunder.
These keyboard skins are from a fairly early build of the Thunder's 4.7 OS (the final release keyboard skins are sure to be sexier), but you can easily tell from the images the user-experience RIM is going after here... they want typing on the Thunder to be EASY. That means a lot of screen real estate dedicated to the keyboard, which makes room for big keys that are easy to locate and tap. RIM is famous for the 'BlackBerry Prayer' position users assume when typing messages on their devices and it looks like that won't change with the introduction of the touchscreen Thunder... you should be able to grip the device with both hands and pound out emails with both thumbs blazing.

The images also provide further confirmation that the Thunder's operating system will still rely heavily on the BlackBerry menu button for key functions and advanced options vs putting all options on the main screen as the iPhone does. I'd assume hitting the menu key while on the Compose Message screens shown in these images should provide the standard BlackBerry menu options such as Send, Copy/Paste, Save Draft, Check Spelling, Attach file, etc.

After using an iPhone 3G for a couple of days, I'll say this: while it's pretty, it's not very efficient at getting stuff done (ahem) lighting-quick. A touchscreen BlackBerry like this may just one-up the iPhone in that department because it's based on the speedy and efficient BlackBerry OS while also getting the benefits of a gigantic touchscreen for browsing, reading and viewing media.

What do you think, does RIM have another winner on their hands?
