Well my Dare went back today! Last night I was using the web at work and the hard keys would not work? the touch screen was fine but no key action! Of course I couldnt power the thing down so I took the battery out. When I put it back In and hit the power button it powered up so I hit all the buttons a few times and went back to the web. As I opened my favs I noticed the had all changed! there were no words just like a letter and a single number or blank! now Im gitting pissed so I open my contacts and half of those were gone! WTFFFFFk! So I took it in this morning and the tech was like wow we havent had any of these come back yet your the first one? they also dont know what happend but they swapped it out and the one I have now seems good! and I was able to recover all my contacts with wireless back up.Wednesday, 16. So I have had my Lg Dare now for about 3 weeks and I cant help but feeling a little torn? Sure I love this phone for its size and ease of use but the browser some times can be hard to use. Now I do a lot of web browsing and as far as that it works quite well but if I try to blog online it sometimes gives me a problem. After using the Dare and gitting use to the speedy rev a Evdo I really dont want to go back to paying 30 to 45 bucks for a data plan! Well I guess I will have to keep it (lol),cant always have your cake and eat it to! And as for the guy that emailed me, No I will not get a Iphone! Att's service is no good where I live and work. later yall!Monday, 14. July 2008, 08:14:05

It looks like actual value is going to be offered to Canadian smartphone users in time for Christmas because Bell is going to match Telus’ amazing $99 smartphone plan. Created in anticipation of large sales of the BlackBerry Storm, both Canadian CDMA-come-HSDPA carriers are offering up plans cons ...
Well what do we have here? Live shots of AT&T’s upcoming answer to the T-Mobile Sidekick just came in courtesy of one of our ninjas and we thought we might as well share ‘em with you. We’ve all known the Quickfire has been in the pipeline for a while and last month we dropped the [...]
It was only a matter of time - Motorola has officially lost its title of number one handset manufacturer in the US to Samsung. Somehow managing to increase sales by 6.2% in the past year despite the US being in the midst of one of the worst economic crises in modern history, Samsung now controls [. ...
If that last ad left you wanting to punch the TV screen, this one should help calm you down a little bit. It doesn’t offer much in terms of new content, and the device sequence is obviously edited to make it look smoother, but all in all, it’s a pretty decent ad. Favorite line? “What [...]
Google must have known this was coming. In the ever-present battle between mobile manufacturers and hackers, it’s always a game of cat and mouse. New OS build is released, hackers attack, hackers win, manufacturer patches - lather, rinse and repeat. Apple was welcomed to the game pretty quickly an ...
Filed under: Handsets , Motorola , Alltel , EV-DO , CDMA Alltel isn't typically the first US carrier to release much of anything, with the notable exception of Glimmer . That's alright -- coming it at number five, they probably don't have quite the sway with manufacturers that a Verizon or a Sprint ...
Filed under: T-Mobile , GSM , EDGE , HSDPA , UMTS Caps are nothing new to the world's 3G networks, but T-Mobile's being particularly stingy with the bytes -- 1GB is all you get. Well, technically you can get more than that, but our friends in magenta are reserving the right to throttle you back to ...
Filed under: Handsets , Multimedia , HTC , T-Mobile , Android Hey, that's pretty awesome that Amazon's thrown together an MP3 store app for the G1 , isn't it? What would be even cooler still, though, is if you could actually listen to those tracks without a crazy dongle hanging off your phone. Like ...
Filed under: Handsets , HTC , T-Mobile , GSM , EDGE , HSDPA , UMTS , Android The T-Mobile G1 web site went up with a bunch of placeholders late last night , but it's finally fully live after this morning's big unveiling, and while it's not exactly bursting with detailed info, there's plenty of new ...
