I am a perfectionist. Yes, I know that.
Several years ago, I promised myself to open a blog written in English when I reach a certain level in English language. But, years passed and my level of English didn’t improved much and I’m not confident enough to write in English or even speak in English . I admit that I didn’t put much effort, and I’m afraid to make mistakes. I want everything to be perfect. But I’m not. I’m afraid to express myself in English as this language is still imperfect to me. I realized that I’m not native speaker and it’s okay to make mistakes but I’m just afraid to admit that my English level is not good enough. Okay. I spent about 40 minutes to reread sentences above and correct some words or sentences that I find inappropriate. That’s how serious my perfectionism is.
The point is, I read an article about self-motivation and I’m motivated. If I never start blogging in English now, I never will. So, voilà, my first English blog. I didn’t plan to tell anyone about this blog, except two of my best friends. So if you happen to find my blog, please don’t tell me that you know about my blog because I feel weird talking about my blog. Blog is supposed to be a personal space to express one’s feelings, not a topic to talk about. I can write about anything but I can’t talk about anything.
Finally found a perfect site to write my blog and a perfect blog name, the combination of line(my French name), elle(her/she in French) and lee(my surname).
