Son of Mars

I’m not quite comfortable now. Sometimes there is a mosquito flying around you and its noise makes you uncomfortable. Therefore you cannot continue sleeping peacefully. So you have 2 options. The first choice is try to ignore its sounds, cover your head with a blanket and pretend you don’t see anything. The second choice is turn on the light, get your spray, locate this noisy target and kill it all at once, after that try sleeping again. I’m in a circumstance like this. The first fact is that I have some Sun certificates and I usually keep in my wallet. The second one is I have never, ever tried to show these ones to someone else, or say something like “Look, watch it! This is Sun certificate! Do you see these? You should ask me if you would like to use these technologies, ask me first and I would give you some valuable advices”. Unfortunately some guys saw these cards in my wallet and I was so appreciated that they haven’t concentrated too much on these things, but me. But a mosquito seems not to like these things at all. I have a experienced colleague. In fact, I always show him my respect because he’s so experienced, has 4 Sun certificates yet and has strong knowledge about J2EE related technologies. However, I have a strange feeling that he usually tries to ask me about my taken exams, and always tries to tell me that he has 4 more than me and because of modest he hasn’t ever put his cards in his wallet. To him, because I took these exams in a short period, ‘bout 3 months per each, so it seems I hadn’t studied or researched anything, the major thing I had done is “playing with exam simulators”. The first time, I had heard these things, I had ignored because it just liked a joke. I tease someone and someone do it with me again, nothing was too much serious. The second time I heard, I was surprised if he had another joke, but there’s no need to argue because of an ancient one. The third one, I’m beginning to believe that is really what he think ‘bout me, so it makes me uncomfortable. Unlike somebody who try to put as much technology details as possible and try to remember everything, I haven’t ever done like this to avoid messing my mind up with too much detail stuffs. So if you were an IT guy and ask me about some new technologies, I could give you a quick overview, how and when it’s recommended to use. If you asked for more details, I would have to say “Sorry, just a sec, I will review my documents and give you answer later”. I think it might be the difference between me and him. You see, I did the first option twice and now I’m considering the second one, just try to tell him how uncomfortable his words are. Unfortunately according to my view, his characteristic doesn’t get familiar with some against ideas, so I must do it carefully, choose necessary words and suitable situation so that I could show my uncomfort, and in advance, show him who really I am
