ABERGAVENNY CARNIVAL DAY 2008

Welcome to Abergavenny Carnival 2007/2008. The carnival takes place every year on July 14th.
All the kids from various local schools, loyal band of helpers struggled through the wind and rain when they started the parade this year, but fortunately it was just a matter of a few minutes- those kids were very brave under the rain, but then the sun shone brightly. The Carnival Procession went without a hitch and a great day was had by all.
The Spectacular motorcycle display called' Solent Eagles' mesmerized the crowd, Abergavenny Gymnastics Display was fantastic.
Local traditional bands entertained throughout the morning and afternoon as did live bands and musicians, and the Climbing/Abseiling Wall and funfair was a great success.
