BE BAPTIZED IMMEDIATELY.

Baptism is the first rite to bury our spiritual soul on the way to our God. Since we have brought our sins from the heavens down to this earth and have been living tempted by sin, please don’t hesitate to be baptized immediately. So many churches are determining that that if you believe in God, you must wait six months or one year of studying some of the Bible before you may be baptized is totally wrong. What does the Bible teach us about baptism?
Theme
1. Don’t be late [/B]
Proverbs 27:1
“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.”
Luke, 12:16-21
“…But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?”
2. Examples set by Apostles concerning the immediate baptism [/B]
Acts 8:30:39
“…and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. Why shouldn’t I be baptized?”
Acts 10 : 1 -48
“He ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ….”
Acts 16 :29-34
“…At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his family were baptized....”
Acts 16 :13-15
“…The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message....”
There need to be water; then at any time, at any place and any nationality you are, you, if you believe in God, should be baptized at once.
If you were already baptized by another church, you are to be re-baptized, for your previous church was not the true church.
Acts 19 : 3-7
“…On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus….”
3. A big mercy [/B]
Acts 2 :38
“...Repent and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Mark 16:15-16
“…Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved,….”
Conclusion
Baptism is the rite to wash away our sins and it is also the promise that we are to be God’s people, those who will obey His will, and we are to be freed from the authority of Satan.
The Lord God promises to give atonement and salvation to those who believe in Him and accept baptism.
