You stopped by my blog (I was the one with the parrots on my shoulders) and you told me to stop by your blog. I have been really sick and still am. I will be going in for surgery soon, but I had to stop by and see your beautiful birds. They are gorgeous. How hard is it to get these type of birds to talk and are they easy to train.
Certainly beautiful birds.
P.S. I have a whole section now of pictures of all of the birds at the Foundation, you might want to stop by and check them out. Brian has some great birds at his Foundation.
thanks. i never forget people associated with beautiful birds, especially parrots. this photo was when they just arrived at my home from a local market. They were stuffed into a very small cage & were bad in shape(health). In that market villagers come to sell their products such as fruits, vegetables & animals which they are able catch such as hens, rabbits, parrots. They treat the animals badly & sell them at any price you can negotiate.I bought them for Rs. 100 or about 2.5$!! but now they are in good health & have full grown feathers & also they are left open to explore the house! if they're somewhat grown up they learn slowly but can be trained easily if you spend some time with them(watchout for the initial biting!!).now after 10 months they can whistle very nicely!! I'll pray for your speedy recovery,'Insha-Allah' you'll be fine.
