My ways & customs

Some of the most common words(Arabic) a Muslim(fortunately that includes me)
uses are :
1. Bismillah-hir-rehmaan-nir-raheem(In the name of Allah,most kind,most merciful) - It is used
or said when beginning any type of work,such as eating,work,exam,......
2. As-salaamu-alaikum (peace be upon you) - We say this when we greet someone.
3. Wa-alaiku-massalaam ( on you too be peace) - The answer or reply for the above greeting.
4. In-sha-Allah (if Allah wills) - it is used as a suffix when you have to do something in future.
such as "Inshallah i will get my job soon" ;"Inshallah i'll pass this year with good marks'.
5. Ma-sha-Allah (what good Allah blessed upon) - It is also used as a suffix when you get your
work done or you overcame your hindrances & obstacles & got satisfied.
such as "Ma-sha-Allah i got my job" ; "Ma-sha-Allah i passed with good marks".
6. Subhaan-Allah (glorified is Allah) - It used when we want to praise Allah.
such as when the weather is pleasant then we say 'Subhaan-Allah'.
7. Al-hamdu-lillaah (All praises are for Allah) - It has many uses.such as when we finish our food we say 'Al-hamdu-lillaah' ;if some one asks 'how are you?', we say 'Al-hamdu-lillaah'.
