"Just the most interesting, thought provoking"

go green.....go black!

, , ,

so finally i have it the way i wanted it!! dark background with light colour text!! well there is certainly a reason for it.So as we all have studied at our highschool physics(light & properties),white light is made from the combination of the 3 primary colours,namely- Red,Blue & Green. When white colour has to be displayed ,all the 3 primary colours need to glow at equal level, which consumes more power & strains our beloved eyes more!! So greater the white portion in display ,greater is the power consumed & greater is the danger to our eyes through radiation.
The PC monitor is either CRT(cathode ray tube) or LCD(liquid crystal display). CRT's have phospher dots of the 3 primary colours ,called pixels. Then the electron gun fires on these dots to produce required colours.white colour demands that all the 3 primary colour dots to be glown at equal intensity & hence due to greater power of radiation it strains our eyes more. While in LCD's the RGB crystals need to glow at equal intensity to show white colour.

while black colour is sort of a " dead " colour.with very less radiation associated with it.

So try this out - black desktop, black backgrounds, black themes... you will save power & be merciful to your eyes!

Life is more strict.......Pork is Forbidden in Christianity & Islam ! but why?

oh i think you better go through your high school physics again. And you study a little bit of the working of your PC monitor ,then you wont laugh.
