Formation of the Universe -

Surah 21,Verse 30 :
"Do not the unbelievers see that the heaves & the earth were joined together , then we clove them asunder & We got every living thing out of the water. Will they not then believe"


Surah 41, Verse 11 :
"Morever (God) turned to the Heavens when it was smoke & said to it & the to the earth..."



Sun as a source of light & the moon as a reflecting body -

Surah 71,Verses 15-16 :
"Did you see how God created seven heavens one above the other & made the moon a light therein & made the sun a lamp"


Planetary Orbit -

Surah 21 , Verse 33 :
"(God is)the one who created the night ,the day,the sun and the moon. Each one is travelling in an orbit with its own motion."


Expansion of the Universe -

Surah 51, Verse 47 :
"The heaven,We have buit it with power, Verily We are expanding it"
**"heaven is the translation of the arabic word 'sama' and this is exactly the extra terrestrial world that is meant"


Conquest of space -

Surah 55 ,Verse 33 :
"O assembly of jinns and men,if you can penetrate regions of the heavens and the earth,then prostrate them! you will not penetrate them save with a power."


Surah 15,Verses 14-15 :
"Even if We opened unto them a gate to Heaven & they were to continue ascending therein,they would say : our sight is confused as in drunkness. Nay,we are people bewitched."



Rain -

Surah 24,Verse 43 :
"Hast thou not seen that God makes the clouds move gently,then joins them together,then makes them a heap. And thou seest raindrops issuing from within it. He sends down from the sky mountains of hail,He strikes therewith whom He wills & He turns it away from whom He wills.The flashing of its lightning almost snatches away the sight."


Surah 56,Verses 68-70 :
"Have you observed the water you drink? Do you bring it down from the rainclouds? or do we? if it were Our will,We could make it salty. Then why are you not thankful? "


The two Seas -
Surah 25 , verse 53 :
"(God)is the One who has let free the two seas, one is agreeable and sweet,the other salty and bitter.He placed a barrier between them, a partition that it is forbidden to pass."


Surah 55,verses 19,20 & 22 :
"He has loosened the two seas.They meet together. Between them there is a barrier which they do not transgress." "out of them come pearls & coral."


The Shadows -

surah 16 ,Verse 81 : "out of the things He created,God has given you shade..."

Surah 16,Verse 48 :
"Have (the unbelievers) not observed that for all the things God created,how their shadow shifts right & left, prostrating themselves to God while they are full of humility."


The Creation of the Living -

Surah 24,verse 45 :
"God created every animal from water"

Surah 36,verse 36 :
"Glory be to Him Who created the components of couples of every kind : of what the ground causes to grow , of themselves(human beings) and of what they do not know."


Surah 13,Verse 3 :
"Of all fruits (God) placed (on the earth ) two of a pair."

Surah 31, Verse 10 :
"We caused to grow (on the earth) every noble pair (of plants)."


Surah 53,Verse 45-46 :
"(God) fashioned teh two of a pair ,the male and the female ,from a small quantity of liquid when it is poured out"



Animal Communities -

Surah 6, Verse 38 :
"There is no animal on the earth , no bird which flies on wings,that (does not belong to) communities like you. We have not neglected anything in the Book(of Decrees). Then to their Lord they will be gathered."


Human Reproduction -

Surah 71,Verse 14 : "(God) fashioned you in (different) stages."


Surah 75,Verse 37 : "was (man) not a small quantity of sperm which has been poured out?"


Surah 23,Verse 13 :
"Then We placed (man) as a small quantity (of sperm) in a safe lodging firmly established."


Surah 76,Verse 2 : "Verily We fashioned man from a small quantity of mingled liquids."


Surah 75,Verse 37-38 : "was (man) not a small quantity of sperm which has been poured out? After that he was something which clings; then (God) fashioned him in due proportion"
