Work smart,Play Hard.

My first sestional tests for mathematics are finally over today.The scheme was really good - Differential Calculus was on 29-2-2008 ,Coordinate geometry was on 7-3-2008 & finally Numerical Analysis was today.So i had a week's time in between for preparing the subjects.The course was 2 units of each subject.The plan was chalked out & the schedule was written,i also managed to get my leftover notes photocopied.So i collected the relevent study material.But as i knew that the course for my next sestional test would be even tougher,so i had to just score the best possible marks.
i started with coordinate geometry & successfully completed the first unit!! But as it always happens with me that i end up studying in the very last hours of sestional tests.So i was off into gaming,surfing, skating,getting my bike repaired,etc. as if i were some kinda Eienstien!! I wanted to feel the rush ,the thrill,the excitement & of course the tension of those last hours or be a day before the test,when you have not completed most of the course & start guessing that some topics are useless and start studying selective topics in order to hurry up the preparation.So far as we have had faced so many exams & tests so its no more a buggaboo!
So is the culture here(among my classmates) the late you start your preparation,the more you are considered intelligent & of higher IQ ,& the more is your respect!!
But still i studied hard for my Differential Calculus & that too 4 days before it(pathetic).& the icing on the cake is that i screwed it up!! i reached 5 minutes late(as usual) & when i saw the paper,it seemed like a cakewalk!! But soon after i realised that i dont remember anything as if i had never studied it!! May be i'll get only 4/10 or 5/10 .Sometimes you run out of luck,when you are really frustrated & you have your friends saying 'oh Insha-Allah i'll manage a sweet 9'! Nevermind.
So i was determined that this time i'll start my preparation when only 2 days would be left! & this time i had my luck on my side! My classmates prepared all of the tougher questions more thoughtfully while i managed to keep myself safe from that extreme mind bending of the Miscellaneous exercise .So this time i was the one saying 'i'll manage a sweet 8/10' while the rest calculated a zero or some minute positive for them.Every dog has its day!
It worked!! Then came the final of the trilogy! i know what i had to do! just dont study too soon ,so this time was the greatest climax of all time! i started on Thursday night! as soon as i studied some methods i had a cousin online on MSN & i also had some of my Opera community fans calling!! So i was away & safe from studies till late at night.i again looked at some methods & slept at 2:30 at night.When i woke up(9 AM) & studied some of it again,& i had only 4 pages of a new study material during those few hours,it had some questions & few formulas.So finally that very hour came! But believe me i'm among the few ones saying 'i'll manage a sweet 10/10' !!
