Nokia is now going to sell one of its most precious asset for developers, the QT (pronounced as cute). QT is a framework wherein developers can code at any language that they like and it will be automatically ported and run in any supported devices like s60 to s40.
QT will be bought by a neutral party - a Finnish company named Digia. With the acquisition of QT, more than 125 Nokia employees will be transferred and moved to the company. After the acquisition, Digia plans to relase a major version of QT which will make it work into Android, iOS and others OS, making apps run from one OS to another.

While surfing the internet, I stumbled upon this article.
BBC News - Facebook smartphone to be 'released next year'. Well I was not surprised about this news since I have read rumors about this. However I was caught up in the idea of a Facebook phone. Well, where would my privacy go? Will it leak to some privaye company? Of course knowing that its Facebook, it would just leak out to the third parties. So in turn, I'm very skeptic about buying this phone. How about you? Any thoughts for this matter?

compass, applications

Today, most of the phones out there does have a sensor which tells the phone where are you heading. However, nokia didn't include a compass app for it. So if you are looking for a good compass app, you can get this compass from Bigzzy.
Its just a simple compass but very effective and doesnt require any libraries like phython installed. Just run the app and turn your phone for about 4 360's and the compass sensor will be aligned to the magnetic north of our planet.
