KICK OFF PARTY for FIS

I have been in charge of the event KICK OFF PARTY for my faculty - International Studies (FIS). This is the first event to show off FIS and help new FISers gain more knowledge about the faculty. The scale is rather large, so I have lots of stuff to deal with - managing different groups to prepare for the event, writing script for the "TALKSHOW" (with VIP guests) that I have no experience at all. It brings me chances to practice my leadership and management skills; however, trouble comes also.

I got home at noon. Thainguyen city has not changed much since the last time I came - still simply beautiful and peaceful. The feeling is much better than that in Hanoi City - you will not get congested even in rush hours; the weather is cooler; the air the fresher, and of course the drain system is better - there's not much flood when it rains like Hanoi.

Ba Dinh square located the parade of the greatest Vietnamese hero Ho Chi Minh (the 1st president of Vietnam who declaimed its Independence in 1945).

my vacation at 'An Lac village' - my dad's hometown

During the Tet holiday (the traditional new year festival of Vietnam), I got a chance to go back to my dad's hometown called An Lac village to visit relatives and old neighbors there(the name 'An Lac' means Peace and Happiness in English). It is a small village located in Hung Yen province which is 60km far from Hanoi capital. Rarely do I go to this place (really, 'once in a blue moon' since my grandma was dead). 5 years went by and I returned to the old hometown with a (not) comfortable feelings. It was mixed feelings that I do not know how to describe.

I have been trying to walk as fast as I can to go home. Nope, I haven’t had to try …. I walked very fast because of arousing excitement in my mind and my blood. I felt so good… so EXCITED – yeah, this is the most exact word. EXCITED!

These r just some of many pics we got that day. The girl next to me is my best friends ^^.

Please listen to this piece of music while reading my post. Its name is "Autumn in my Heart" - for two reasons why I like this song: 1 - It's Autumn season in Vietnam now - beautiful season really; 2 - I heard this song played by one of my friends with the piano (he's a talent who made me feel the real Autumn in my heart then). Making friends with the PC, I nearly dont go out so much as before. Am I losing my activeness? Is that harmful for my physical and mental balance? I need to improve my creativity, but not just sit in front of the PC all day, I need to merge myself into the society for realisticity and aspiration....
