It was very exciting for us at day 6, which will be the last day of our trip before crossing to Canada. We drove around 400 plus miles at day 6, not a short drive, but we saw many cities and landmarks that we both had never set foot in.
A very interesting side note was after our crazy feast at day 5, we was thinking keeping it simple at day 6 in term of our meal plan. However, that night at our motel, somehow, the local TV was airing "Anthony Bourdain meets Harvey Pekar" special episode about Cleveland and its local food scene. I guess destiny was trying to tell us something there...

After almost 500 miles of driving on day 4, day 5 was a much lighter load for us. We planned to meet up a really good friend of ours at Cincinnati, Ohio and spent a night around there.
From Pocahontas to Cincinnati was around 330 miles drive, as always, there were so many surprises and charms along this day's journey as well...

Ever since we checked in our apartment at Quebec, we been wanting to visit the state of Maine. So last Friday after Lorenzo finished his work, we took off and heading to Maine. From Quebec city to Augusta city, Maine was about 150 miles drive. Don Pico is a one of our favorite Mexican restaurant. This little bistro is located on
San Bruno and well know for its great food.

Never go wrong to start with a big dish of homemade guacamole and chips.

One of our old time favorite is the seafood paella
"Paella de Mariscos", never disappointed.

Lawrence ordered the
Crab Meat Enchiladas this time and it was delicious!!!

and don't forget to order some from their beverage menu, we got
Mango Acquafresca and
Stratberry Margarita, and OMG, they are delightful and refreshing tasty!!

We was so full and still got tons of leftover to take home at the end. We have to skip the dessert this time. If you decide to check out
Don Pico yourself, plan your meal well and save some room for their mouthwatering dessert menu, trust me, it's worth it.
Here's the
Yelp Review for
Don Pico.
