On Wednesday June 11, there was Opera Family Day in Linköping.
In the afternoon, all Opera employees and their children gathered next to a large playground. "we fikade and played on the playground," says Bibbi. To fika is a Swedish verb that essentially to take a coffee break. We were supposed to barbecue some hot dogs, but because of the recent drought in Sweden that has lasted now for 6 weeks, we hired a hot dog man to come and serve us hot dogs from his hot dog cart instead. Just as he parked the wagon, the first rain began to fall.
