The day at faculty
Thursday, October 27, 2005 12:22:05 PM
At this moment I'm in big classroom at our faculty, learning how to programing in Java.. I'm quite a beginer, but I'm working on it
When I was cycling in the city I started to wonder, when will the mankind realise what we are doing to our nature... almost everybody is driving a car nowadays, the rest is driving with buses or taxis... I mean, what happened to walking? Cycling? Skating?
People are visiting gym's, fitness centers, sun studios,... but when they have to go to work or school, they can't cycle or walk or something... and it's a sunny day here in Slovenia today, temperatures are above 15 degrees... If the natural resources ran out or we pollute our planet too much, we will be in big problems... I would like to suggest some kind of program in wich goverments all over the world support alternative ways of transport... the oil consumption is getting out of control... what about the future generations? Will they breath our poluted air? Will they drink black water because of us? Come on people, if you can, if the weather is nice, go to work/school by bike or foot... don't spend money on buses and gyms... what do you think? Kind greetings from Slovenia, Matjaž
