Bears Can't Be Bears!!

, , ,

What. The. F*ck!

Excuse my french but seriously, i am SO pissed after reading this article :irked:

http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/08/12/bear.attack.ap/index.html

Basically, some American kid and his idiotic no-brained hillbilly father go wandering into Bear country, then wonder why they get attacked by...oh my god, no way...a BEAR!:yikes::irked: The stupidity of the whole attack situation they put themselves in is enough to make you wonder whats wrong with some people, but then here comes a funny bit...apparently the animal wasn't provoked......:left:....:right:
No wait a minute...i'm sorry, erm, maybe i'm misunderstanding here, but do wild animals need a definitive reason to attack something that they feel threatened by or view as potential food?? If you're in their territory, you put yourself in danger...what are they expecting? Yogi freakin bear with his picnic-basket stealing ways??!

The most appauling thing of this story follows:

Park rangers tracked down a young male bear weighing about 86 pounds that they suspected of being the attacker. When the bear acted aggressively toward the rangers, they shot it.

:frown:

Oooooooooh, ok i never realised that wild animals are killed in todays society for being WIIIILD! What the hell is the bear supposed to do?? It felt threatened, it was aggressive...is it meant to present photo opportunities and act as a woodland tour guide or something?? I just do NOT get it...

The whole thing has seriously annoyed me (can't you tell already?). This attitude that a wild animal isn't meant to attack and show signs of aggression, as anything WILD will do, just makes me want to laugh and punch those people in the face at the same time!!

Watch your back Bears...you're no longer allowed to be BEARS!!:bomb:

Yet again i find myself ashamed of our species, what is it with human being's ego centred desire to conquer and control everything, and destroy anything that can't be controlled! Unfortunately we keep seeing more of this. It's disappointing, but i draw hope from the number of people who are just as annoyed to hear about this sort of thing! But then again, i suppose if it's human nature to be vengeful, vindictive and petty, then maybe those hillbillies can no more be judged than the bear can. Thankfully we have the capacity to evolve above these mindless pursuits, it's just that some of us clearly have some catching up to do...
