C is for Cookies

I really enjoy making things though! The only downside is, i can't eat all the creations i make as i would either be sick or obese. I need someone who will happily consume all the recipes i want to try and not worry about putting on weight. Definitely not a woman then These were actually pretty healthy as far as cookies go. There are a million biscuit recipes out there and i was unsure exactly what to go for, so i found the simplest one i could find, then adapted it slightly and added some things that i like best. Apricots, pecan granola, almonds, raisens and cinnamon
So if anyone doesn't already have a great biccie recipes, you might like to try this:
55g caster sugar
100g soft brown sugar
175g self-raising flour
½tsp bicarbonate of soda
pinch of salt
& a mix of whatever you want to throw in there! I used 2tsp ground cinnamon and around 150g of the other goodies i mentioned.
You then mix it all together in a big pile of dough and put slightly flattened balls onto baking paper. Easy peasy! Technically the mixture was meant to make 36 cookies if you used a teaspoon sized blob....i may not have stuck to that size scale
They were SO delicious coming out of the oven, still warm and gooey in the middle These also made the kitchen smell devine and Christmassy (cinnamon reminds me of the season to be jolly )!
I forgot to bring any back with me to enjoy after work, so i suppose i will have to make more when i go home again next week...yes, that is definitely a totally legitimate reason...
