I just wanted to moan (*gasp*

me moan?? noooooo really?!) about Cadburys Roses - some nice people sent me some (which was bizarrely encased in 10m of bubblewrap and a box marked "FRAGILE"

) and after eating 2 County Fudge

and 2 Strawberry Cream i consulted the back on what to endulge in next...hmmm Chocolate Bite? Yes

...oh, wait no there is none

. Nevermind lets have, Orange Crisp...no?

i tip out the box and what do i see - evil god-damn Caramel...caramel i tell you!!!

Not just caramel, but Golden Barrel, which incidently, is feckin caramel!! And not just any caramel, no..no this is break-your-tooth rock-hard caramel...oh look whats this - Caramel Velvet! Urgh!! Why is there so much freakin caramel?? Wheres the other chocolate - i claim flagrant false advertising!
I noticed nowhere does it say "contents of box may vary"....well ok it says "assortment" but COME OOOON! Caramel, caramel and caramel is not assortment...thats cara-freakin'-mel.

Ok so i like Hazel in Caramel but still...
How many times did i say the word 'caramel' in that paragraph?! *Calls Guiness World Records*

Anyway i also want to moan about QI - last night they stated that shrimps/prawns do NOT give Flamingos their pink colour. Err....WRONG

Yes, it is the Beta carotene in their diet and yes they can get that from blue-green algae, BUT they also get it from shrimps/prawns! Therefoooore, they DO make Flamingos pink! HA! Such lies they put on TV nowerdays, trying to make animal-nerds like me look stoopid - for ages i been telling people its due to prawns and now they might have watched that and thought "That Lucy is so full of shite" - Now thanks to Stephen Fry my reputation with regards to Flamingo-knowledge is in tatters! Tatters i tells ya!! No longer will people flock to me for Flamingo answers....Oh the pain, the pain of it allll!

...What's that?...Drama Queen?? Moooi?!

WELL reeaaally...

P.S. The word Flamingo is so cool isn't it - say it with a spanish accent...FLAMANGOOOOW! ARRIBAAAH! No wait, thats Mexican.....

i dont know and am totally guessing. But do the shrimps and prawns eat the blue-green algae? so when the "FLAMANGOOOOW! ARRIBAAAH!" eats them, the pinkness is transfered? so, the original pink comes from the algae?

also, how does blue-green make pink?

i want to see some blue-green and maybe caramel coloured flamingos...

nooooo, they either eat blue-green algae or prawns - both contain beta carotene which give them the pink colour...
don't try and dispute me on my flamingo knowledge now, i might need to bitch slap you...
