Pffffft...Pop Night

,

I know it's been a while since fireworks night (so long that the fact people are STILL letting them off is starting to grate on me! Seriously, from Halloween to Christmas its like living in a War Zone) but i only just bothered to take the pictures off my camera - which probably says alot, lol!
So anyways, i have trouble justifying the spending of £100 on something that will last all of 3 minutes, so instead we went for the tight-wad versions. Buy-one-get-one-free £10 boxes...like, hellooo, bargin! Who cares if they didn't bang, or always sparkle, or last more than 10 seconds....No no, it didn't matter. The fact i took all the pictures in slow-shutter speed actually did them some major favours...

So beginning of the night, lets start with something WOW...Midnight Magic ought to do it...

Kinda looked like the garden tub was gonna take off :insane: , but nevermind, nevermind, just warming up... Lets go for Super Sparkle next...

..Well it sparkled...i'm still undecided on the Super element.
So time for some big guns...Rainbow EXPLOSION!

I'm liking, i'm liking

How about...Sparkle Suprise?

...well there were sparkles and er...guess we were suprised...
Up next, Exploding Stars

Well that was pretty good actually! Although, there wasn't much "exploding". Silent Stars woulda been more fitting, but i can look over that.
Sooo are you ready? I'm bringing out the big guns - Arabian Sunset. Is gonna be sweeeet!
 ...i mean, i've never been to an Arabian place but i wasn't imagining the sunset to resemble a Cress-Head. Remember them? Was like a stocking with stick on eyes that grew edible grass out its scalp? I dunno, everytime i look at this picture, i get hungry.
But anyway by now it was starting to rain a bit and we were all eager for reliable sparklers, so on to the FINALE! Time for the Rocket! Time to be amazed! Time to wince for the BANG! Reeaddddy...

:eyes: ... yes amazing, i can see why we saved that till last. The er, visuals were incredible, the noise...well actually there was no noise, minus the Pfft of take off and the Pop of conclusion. Which, i might add, was so tiny that those with poorer hearing thought we were making it up. That rocket even had a shiny silver head - i thought shiny = special?! i don't wanna know what the plain ones do, i'm not sure i can handle it.

Needless to say i can highly recommend the bargin fireworks if you want a laugh as the noise will probably be the loudest thing all evening. Sparklers though, as always, didn't disappoint...

:yikes: Look at the skill...the art...the co-ordination!

Person on the left apparently didn't know what a star looked like :left: so they went for some kind of swirled blob instead

Sooo, anyway, yes that was Pffft Pop Night. And it was so good we saved half of them for Christmas! Wooow, Wooo, Alriiight, Can't Wait Man!
