I had been disappointed with Opera in my Windows platforms (no problem in my Linux installations) because I had trouble logging in to My Opera and Links after a few upgrades back, though I have no problem logging in using different browsers. Today I thought of dumping Opera but had 1 last idea. I uninstalled Opera, delete Opera folders under <userprofile>\Application Data\ and in <userprofile>\Local Settings\Application Data\ and also under \Program Files\. Then I reinstalled Opera and VOILA! Everything works fine. Now I'll keep Opera as my default browser.
