Economic Warrior

Money is not the root to all evil, poverty is.

CAPITALISM FOR ORDINARY FOLK

There are a lot of things we're not told early on in life. Things like why we should really work hard at economic subjects. Instead we are led into things like literature etcetera, instead of technology, business, economics, etcetera. That's where the money is. In essence, we should aspire to be business people, and it does not matter at which level we begin at. We have to be willing to put in time, dedicate our lives to what we are doing, and have the right frame of mind or the right attitude towards doing business. The point that we should buy African cannot be over emphasised. It is important that we as Africans start ploughing back into our own communities instead of waiting around with begging bowls hoping the Chinese are going to help us. The Chinese are Capitalists in denial to, and what they are simply doing in Africa is pushing for their own welfare. Invest in people, businesses and companies that will keep African wealth on African shores. This way, there will be more money going towards the development of our continent. We should stop this untoward practice of being a consumer continent. The Japanese sell us Toyota, the Germans Benz, the list is endless. What do we manufacture that we sell to the world? If there are companies that are wholly African owned, support them. That is the first step towards African Capitalism. It is a mind-set. Support that fruit vendor selling you apples or bannanas on the street corner. In time he will own a shop, he will grow bigger. Why do we want to opt for the big chain supermarkets that don't even keep their profits on our shores. LETS DEVELOP OUR SLUMS, THE ONLY WAY IS BY KEEPING OUR MONEY WITHIN THESE SAME SLUMS. For example, If I make some decent enough money, there is no need to move out of my slum into a better neighbourhood. I should build a nice house in my neighbourhood and inspire others to do likewise. Soon enough property prices will rise, and everyone will want to move into our slum. Look at The Soweto property boom in South Africa as an example. Let's practice Capitalism, come now people.
