Ancient Indian measuring system

One man sought grace from god to get rid off from his enemies but thereafter most of his good friends left him. Do you know why? It is nature of human that he shake hands with you if he can gain something from you otherwise he has lot of people in his family and nearby. Selfishness creates friendship so most of the friends are selfish and you may define them as mild enemy. Enemy may hurt you hard but only once whereas your friends hurt you all the time but mildly and softly. If you calculate over all the quantum of your grand loss is more from friends than your enemies. I am partly agreed with you but there may be some exceptions also.
